Sean, was late by 25 minutes from the ETA posted in an email I received at 3:06 which said his ETA was 3:21. He arrived at 3:46 and never called to let me know he was running later. The same thing happened when he came on 2-06-2024. When he got to my house, he sat in his van for at least 10 minutes before coming to the door. When I opened it, he said, "Me again. What did CHW say?" I replied that I had an email that stated repairs would be made today. To which he replied, "Not without parts." As he walked away, he added, "I hate these people (CHW)" He sat in his van for 25-30 minutes before I went back outside to ask what was going on. He jumped out of the van and said, "The quote was submitted and is under review" I walked back into the house and watched him sit in my driveway and 8-10 minutes before leaving. His comments and behavior on his two visits to our home were very unprofessional and did not leave me feeling confident in fixing our problem. So, when the repairs are authorized, I would like to have someone else come back to perform the services. For all he knew, I may have actually worked for CHW or even Sears, and his comments would have justified his reprimand or firing.Michael D. Culver

The repairman showed up on time. He was courteous. The problem was not fixed and we were charged over $400.00. We are not pleased.

Harold was very good and mostly went the extra mile. Did wonder if some of the other coils on the refrigerator should have been cleaned. He said the air was blowing ok. Not sure that was good enough.Service: Refrigerator/freezer repair

Zero or negative stars. I place a repair request for my microwave in early November 2022. The technician was not available to look at the microwave until the end of December. He looked at the microwave, order 10+ parts. Over the next several months various parts arrived and 3 or 4 more technicians attempted to repair the microwave. After being told by the last 2 technicians that a new microwave was needed, the last technician said a new one was approved and that i would receive an email in 24-48 hours. Two weeks go by and multiple phone calls by me to an overseas call center whose employees were kind but all they could do is apologize to me but not actually do anything. The technicians I spoke in person told me they did not have any other customer service number to call. I was given phone numbers that were out of service. I was hung up on by automated recordings. I am frustrated to the point of tears. There is no physical office to walk in to and talk to a real person. The repair technicians themselves were frustrated by their own inability to help me. Now, the repair job is closed and they have no idea how to re-open it for a replacement because the repair department and the replacement department are different. We have been paying 50$/month + the 75$ initial repair fee and at this point we could have bought a new microwave ourselves and paid someone else to install it. Plus add the cost of a cheap microwave we bought to use during the past 7 months. Help - please. If you have a simple repair, they are fine but the customer service / national call center is in shambles and one department does not speak to the other. Very disorganized. I will post negative reviews on every website I can find. Amazing how a simple broken appliance can cause a person so much despair. I am currently on hold with a person who may be able to help and I am hopeful but I have been hopeful many many times before...

Refrigerator hasn’t worked in over 2 months! The same tech who clearly doesn’t know what he is doing has been to my home now 7 times in those 2 months and has yet to make it work. Plugs it in before he leaves and says wait for it to get cold but it never does!Already paid close to $500 for the repair service! What an absolute joke of a company! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Plugs it in before he leaves and says wait for it to get cold but it never does!Already paid close to $500 for the repair service! What an absolute joke of a company! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

If I could give less than one star I would! Over night our 3 year old Kenmore refrigerator stopped working. Called for service and had to wait 9 days before a tech could get to us! Once he got here we told him we "thought" it was the compressor. He said he would take a look and let us know. Next thing we know is he's replacing the compressor. 4 hours later the compressor is replaced and we are paying nearly $400 - that's fine better than $4k for a new one! Problem is - the damn thing STILL DOESN'T work! AND the repair tech burnt my new floors! So I called again - on hold for for 1 hour 5 minutes- being transferred to 7 different people because no one could answer my questions. All customer service could do was schedule someone to come help us on the 21st - mind you this was on the 10th... another 11 days! So we will now be without a refrigerator for ALL of August! Worst customer service ever! Only used because that's where we purchased and our warranty is! No wonder sears closed their stores!

The service technician was very thorough and explained everything that he was doing. Also informed my wife and I that our unit was not an efficient unit because of its age.

The repairman found that he needed a part he does not carry on his truck. He ordered the part to be delivered by Rush Service and returned later in the day to repair the washer. He was very courteous and took time to explain what was wrong. I would welcome this type of service back whenever needed.
