I drive from Illinois to have the caring Techs trim my precious kittens nails. Everyone is so wonderful there. The rehab girl even took time to talk about water therapy. A delightful experience.

I used to go here with my dog that passed away. I chose a closer vet for my current dog but after this experience I will be transferring back to perrysburg! My boy needed immediate surgery for a blockage and they told us to head right over and they would get his records. Within an hour he was in surgery and the blockage was removed. They took such great care of him and have called to check on him now that he is home and never complained about my frequent nervous dog mom calls when I had questions. I couldn’t be more thankful for Hannah, Dr. west and the ENTIRE team at perrysburg animal hospital!

Love this place but would love it more if they had packages with just water treadmill and laser treatments.

My seven year old siamese cat was recently diagnosed with diabetes. Perrysburg Animal Hospital has been treating him and was able to get his glucose under control with a daily pill called Bexacat. They are so caring and compassionate whenever he comes in for his check-ups. I've also had to board him there, and they took such good care of him. They're very thorough and upfront with everything they do. No one wants to find out they have a sick pet, but I'm so glad I have somewhere I can trust to have him cared for when needed. My little man, Hunter, says thank you, and so do I.

Absolutely amazing and helpful staff. I had an allergic reaction emergency with my dog this morning and they were able to get us in so quick(4 other places i called had a 2-3 hour wait time), the staff was super nice and friendly with my shy boy. We were in and out in about an hours time with a solution and medication in hand. Very thankful for their help and the visit didn't break the bank so that was also a plus for me. Would highly recommend!

I brought my ferret in because he wasn't able to use the bathroom. After having to come up with $150 for them to even see him, they found that he had bladder stones and required emergency surgery. The vet said that he could have possible kidney damage from how serious the stones were, and they would have to retest his kidney levels the next day. They DID NOT do the test and sent him home the next day. I watched him for the next week to see if he was using the bathroom, which he was, but he was only urinating. I also noticed that he was drinking a lot of water, but wasn't eating. I ended up having to take him to the Toledo office to put him on an IV again. 2 days later I was called and told he wasn't improving. Needless to say, I had to put my ferret down after all of that. I spent over $2200 and he suffered for a whole week. To add insult to injury, the Perrysburg office sent me a reminder text for his followup appointment to be checked and have his stitches removed. If you have an exotic animal vet that has seen an animal in 2 different offices, you would think that they would communicate with the other office when a patient they have has died. I feel like this vet knew he was gonna die, and did all these unnecessary things to him to get extra money. If i would have known that the surgery wasn't going to save him, i would have never put him thru all of that. Now not only have I lost my emotional support pet, but I am out $2200. I will never take any of my pets to this place again!!!!!!
My response to your response is.....
Nothing you say can make up for the fact that you DID NOT run the follow up test on his kidney levels the day after his surgery, you sent him home. If you would have run the tests he needed you would have known he wasn't ready to go home. You sent him home with $500 of medication that didn't help him AT ALL! He suffered unnecessarily for a whole week! I spoke with your office and I told you I was concerned he wasn't eating, the best you could give me was to take him to MedVet. When the Vet called, I was told to take him to Toledo to be seen there. SO sorry, not sorry. I will take my animals to another vet thanks.
And this next part is for Toledo, when you went to Euthanize him and it didn't work because his IV fell out, i wonder why he wasnt getting any better!!! and $250 to cremate a pet that only weighs a pound and a half is ridiculous. I took him somewhere else to have it done for $90

Brought our dog here for the doctor to look at her paw that is infected no appointment but they said bring them, They'll work you in. We've been in the room for over an hour and still no veterinarian came in to check that is ridiculous along time and it's not the first time that we've had to wait in a room with the dog stressing out to see someone. We have three dogs that we bring to this place they overbook and don't have enough veterinarians to see the dogs, absolutely ridiculous.

Always extremely late with appointments. Don't give animals medicine in the office, send home with you to give instead. Poor communication. Communicated concerns and they only briefly looked at the animal and sent home with a prescription instead doing a full examination. Highly don't recommend.

When I first started coming, I enjoyed this vet and thought we had finally found a vet our dog was comfortable at and would be taken care of well. Over the past year it has been nothing but different vets and techs everytime (which my dogs doesn't do the best with), new people that don't have a clue whats going on, me left having to correct something thats incorrect or repeating myself because I get the same options/recommendations discussed that I have stated multiple time either don't work for him, have already tried in the past, or are way ridiculous in price. We have dropped at least $400-500 each time coming in the past year alone and thats not including our other dog, for an exam and whatever else they need to do on top of medications for it to basically put a band-aid on the problem or give the same medication as before and get no resolution for him.
