“Can’t recommend enough! I always stay here when visiting family in Perrysburg. All of the workers are so sweet, helpful, and kind. I was even surprised with a goodie bag hanging from my door on my birthday. The time and thought that went into that goodie bag really touched my heart, and there’s no way I’ll stay anywhere else now. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else anyway because my rooms have always been nice and clean with no issues, and the price is right. A gem of a hotel and thank you to everyone who works there!”

“I travel to a lot of the same places so am trying to make nots more for myself on favorites and less than favorites (I need to quite repeating my repeat mistakes). This hotel is one of my favorites. All time. I love the location. Good food walking distance- Basil is usually on my list and often I take pizza to go for lunch the next day. Breakfast is nearby for early mornings. There's a target a few exits away for forgotten essentials (or even the Sephora or the grocery store may have what you need). Many of my colleagues are in the area so sometimes I can even treat to a business dinner after work. This hotel has come in clutch several times when I was staying at the Home2 next door and even though I'd checked in the day prior with a confirmed room they would go hours late into the night not giving me a room or ETA- the Hilton Garden Inn has made it happen and they are so friendly when I walk through. They also usually get the purpose of the keyless entry as well. I like to choose a quiet room on the app and go straight to my room not having to wait in line at the deals if possible. They honor this system as intended which is valuable after a long day on your feet or when you have only minutes to change for dinner. Some other hotels will confirm your request only to change the room later without acknowledging it or cancel your digital key. Super annoying. This hotel has been reliable for a number of years. Keep up the good work.”

“Nice cozy hotel. It's clean. Yes, the smell of good cooking looms throughout the halls, you have to understand all the rooms have a kitchen. Plenty of parking nearby, all around the area. And, close to all kinds of shopping. It's quiet, that's all we ask for. Laundry a bit challenging, everybody on weekends are doing it.Nearby activities: We come here a lot.Walkability: East walk to shops/dining.”

“I reserved a room over the phone and at check in asked for a room I could see my van from, as I had sensitive freight in it and had to watch it closely. She gave me a room in back that was opposite of my request, I couldn't see my van, and then when I mentioned it, she said there were no rooms available that I asked for in my price range. Fair enough. I took the room she gave me anyway, but noticed a place I could park and easily see my van from, so it worked out well, at least for me. The girl at the desk was nice and helpful. The room wasn't bad either. It was clean. The hallways leading to rooms did smell bad. The location is not a very good one. Near the I-80/90 and can hear the Trucks whizzing past. But I did like the room. But then again, I am not hard to please.”

“We always stay here when visiting Toledo. Nice clean rooms, good location, and great prices. I hope they keep doing what they do.

I wrote that review just over 2 months ago. Since then I've been back to stay almost a month this time. Last time it was just a day or 2 as always. During this stay I discovered when staying for extended periods they put you in the Marijuana hall that isn't air conditioned, there was noise almost all the time between people knocking on others doors (walls are thin), dogs barking, and just an abundance of people living there for work or just to have a place to live. I asked to be moved up to the front hall where there's less traffic especially during the week. I was told it's better for me too be back there where it's quiet compared to when people are there on the weekends. On top of that the "free breakfast" has been moved from a start time of 6 to 7 am with a piece of tape over the 7 am. I'm thinking the reason for this is people like me there to work get up early enough to go at 6. So to prevent so much food being consumed they moved it to 7 am which is most construction workers stay time. Just another bad business model for the consumer. I planned on staying until 10-16 and had the room paid through 10-9, I paid weekly. Well 10-6 I had to leave urgently since I live in the Tampa area and my wife, 2 grandkids, and 4 pups had to evacuate. I felt I should be there to help with this, called my boss, he understood and I left. I called to ask about the 3 days of me not staying and they told me I couldn't get a refund since I was getting the weekly rate. If you ask me, that's kind of bad business since I do stay there alot and this was an emergency. I will stick to my original review that if you're there for only a few days, in the front hall and you wake up a little later it's not a bad hotel, just don't use this for a work related stay if longer than a week. Don't expect them to be understanding of any emergency situation as it seems they would rather keep my money and double rent the room.....

Rooms: I always feel the rooms are clean and the hotel over all is kept up nice.”
