4 out of 5 stars: We'll be back. The shop is large and well-stocked. The staff is courteous and helpful. Reasonable price. It, like all Toys Centers, has a section dedicated to toys and another to early childhood.There is a lot of variety in every type of toy, and it's a nice place to visit.

The staff at the Pepper Pike location quickly displayed an unwillingness to help when presented with a return item and original method of payment in hand. While understanding that this may be a business decision which your frontline employee is tasked with enforcing, the entire experience lacked customer centricity.As a small business, I specifically sought out Playmatters for my toddler’s holiday shopping as the customer service and product offering were assumed to be delightful, but after this experience I will not be returning.

My daughter and I went to this toy store for the first time a few weeks ago. It is wonderful! I looked it up on Yelp and saw that it was only ranked four stars so I checked out the rankings. The one star reviews are from so many years ago - they are completely wrong for the current situation. Not sure if there are new owners since those poor reviews but the staff were great showing around my 3 year old - listening to all her questions and stories. I'm planning another trip to get some birthday presents for upcoming parties. Highly recommend this store.

I absolutely love playmatters. I started coming to the one in Solon a few years ago but after they closed I made a special trip to Pepper Pike. I found this remote control car for my 6 yr old. They even gave me BATTERIES! They wrapped it and handed it over to our community for their Santa gift drop. My child was AMAZED! It’s meant to crash and magnetic pieces fall off! What little boy wouldn’t love this?! The unique toys and attentive care they take with each customer is unprecedented! It’s truly a one of a kind store!

A gem in our neck of the woods, with a great variety of wholesome toys and gadgets for the kids. We go for a minute and stay for an hour every time. Family owned, the dollars stay in our neighborhood. Consider stopping by on your next Heinen’s run. Your kids will thank you for it!
