I love antiques! I've noticed that many "antique stores" in the area are not as they claim. This shop has amazing antiques. Also the merchandising and staging is absolutely lovely! I came prepared to spend time exploring this shop and making a few purchases.Now, the reason why I gave a 1 star review. Not sure who their target demographic is, but the impression I got from my first visit to this antique shop is that I am NOT that person. I was not welcomed when I came in. I figured she was busy. As I continued to explore the store, I overheard the shop keeper welcome and make small talk with every person who came in. (Of note they were older and white). After hearing this multiple times I put away what I was planning to buy (some old post cards and books) and left. I am very disappointed by my experience. Is it possible that this lady wasn't judging me? Sure! However, she gave me this impression and therefore I will never be visiting this establishment and will telling everyone I know not to do so as well. Antiquing is a passion of mine and knowing that there is a beautiful shop so close to where I live due to poor behavior, makes me sad. If you (look rich) and are white, congrats, you will receive red carpet treatment. If you look not rich, even though you actually do well (physician in my case) or are not white, this is not the shop for you! Luckily there are plenty of great places for me to spend money!

With only 7 vendors supplying the inventory, the shop was disappointingly sparse with lots of blank spaces and not much variety. The prices were high and there's a specific aesthetic so that every shelf looks more like a highly curated Instagram post waiting to happen LoL Hats off to the very nice lady at the counter for all her hard work because everything here was clean and tidy, but I like a place where I can find a diamond in the rough that might need a little cleaning up, a little more vintage with my antiques, and a little more flea with my vintage :-) It's just not my style but there was a steady stream of people coming & going while I was there on a Thursday so they're doing something right!

We went for a hike in Cuyahoga National Park and discovered this little gem of an antique store in Peninsula afterwards. What a treat! Cute 1885 building, very organized store with hand-picked items from different vendors so you can purchase different styles of antiques. Staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. If you're into antiques or just passing through, would highly recommend the stop!

I'm not an avid antique collector myself, however this shop has a great collection of items from early century pieces, furniture, vintage items, and jewelry. I'm so glad I found this gem!
