“I love a good rest stop area, and this one is a must stop on every trip from Ohio to Michigan.Always clean and a great place to get brochures, maps, and other information for everything in or around the area to do or see.There's a nice outdoor area with interesting information and displays on Rocks found in Michigan, so if you're a Rockhound like me, it's definitely worth the stop alone on that here.”

“Steve is the man! He has worked on my ‘79 B and my brothers ‘75 Stingray. Both went in on flatbeds, but he was able to identify the problems quickly and have both cars back out the door in record time running great. Not only was his turnaround great, but he’s honest about his time and the problems with the vehicle. No over diagnosing, and no up charging, he just fixes the problems and sends you on your way. If you’re looking for a mechanic, you found him. Thanks Steve!”
“Recently came here to grab some energy drinks before heading to the in laws. This place is a beautiful, charming gas station with a beautiful Ohio charm. Maintains nostalgia on the outside but it's a typical gas station on the inside. The cashier was really fun to chat with and is a great comedian. Wouldn't mind coming back here”

“Best prices around, 99% of the time they're 10 cents or more under the rest of the area. The owner is very sweet, the staff is friendly and efficient. Decent selection of snacks and drinks, especially considering the size of the store vs some of the huge places.”
“When we passed by RockStop Gas, the gas was 22 cents cheaper then anyone else. We decided to stop on our way going home. Gas was then the same price as everyone else. We still got gas and decided to get a car wash. My washes are free. By the time we got to the front of the line, the car wash was broke. The lady who was working in the gas station was wonderful. Tried to help in every way. Next time we will go there first. The place is also clean. This station is on Northfield. RITA CARROLL”
“Just had my rear rotors and pads replaced and I'm thrilled. Super friendly, fast, convenient, and honest. I work .5 miles from the shop and they dropped me off and work then picked me up when it was done. Highly recommend!!”

I said some negative things about this store I've never been to Ohio and we stopped at two different stores and I miss spoke when I said true north I apologize to true north and all their staff,for putting a negative light on their store. I had no issues at the store I had no problems .very friendly staff ,professionalism,no issues so I apologize for anyone who read my previous post”
“They have always been fair and honest with our family. Tim, the owner, has been in the service business with his family for years in Garfield Heights. He will not just hang cheap parts on your vehicle just to say he fixed it. Very conscientious and will be fair with pricing the job. It's too bad people give reviews based on their anger like the one gentleman who had a bad experience with an employee. Employers, unfortunately can't be everywhere all of the time, That certainly is not their way of doing business. Really nice having a local place to go not corporate.”

“Y'all silly! Claiming racism and getting upset because they swipe your card cause is faster and more efficient or because you went in there plenty of times and one time you go in have a bad encounter with an employee and want to blast them on that one bad experience. Not bagging ok I can understand that one. And why are you walking into a gas station with a water bottle? Why not just leave it in the car? Y'all be so eager to post negative things sometimes. I would understand if it was a constant problem you're having at the same establishment over and over again. It takes more effort to post negative things than it is to just stop going. What, are you guys really trying to warn or stop people from going places. Let us find out ourselves and have our own bad experiences. Don't take that joy from us. Not everyone has a great day everyday. You know what I do when I go to a restaurant with my wife and kids and I have a terrible experience with either the staff, environment, food, price or the experience... I don't go back. I've had no problem there except one time when they wouldn't accept my expired license even though I'm clearly of age to purchase items that require one. I told the guy thanks I thought it expired next year (that was my tags) went to a different gas station where they gave me what I wanted then went 30 seconds away to the BMV to renew. Everyone has been friendly and greeted me damn near every time I've walked in. Y'all got a lifer in me... Even if I do catch one of y'all on a bad day. ??”

Oh.Cheap gas and good gas as well, delightfully available late night in the middle of the Akron area, and right in the middle of one of my favourite parts of Ohio, and the heart of NE Ohio as far as I'm concerned, with all the memories from the old days.I come here on a regular basis when I'm in town and get cheaper gas than elsewhere in Ohio for the most part, at this station and others in the area.”
