I'm never one to post a bad review, but this review is for the granville location. I've always gone to the Pataskala one but they couldn't fit me in for months in advanced so they sent me here. My first impression was when I walked in, not a single person greeted me or even acknowledged that I had come in. There was several people at the desk. Finally when I had said something the lady interrupted me and told me to have a seat very rudely. We went in for a broken nail on my Shepard who is very calm and well behaved. After looking at him they asked if I wanted them to clip the rest of his nails and I said yes. The second nail in they started cutting him one after another. Almost every single nail got cut too short. There was blood gushing everywhere and when my dog started to cry and yell they told him to calm down and asked me to hold him. You would think a veterinarian would know how to trim nails but in this case we went in for a broken nail to get antibiotics to avoid infection and ended up with many nails cut WAY too short and a horrifying experience for me and my fur baby.

Most of the staff is friendly and caring. The front desk person (Kim) IS NOT! Our final decision to not go there anymore was made because of Kim’s rude, lack of sympathy and cold attitude along with a disregarded message for Dr. Rice to call us back regarding our recent trip to the office.

the staff is always so friendly and quick to answer any of my concerns. I had tried another vet in the area who gave my dog the wrong treatment causing his passing. so when I got a new pet, I came here and I've loved them from the beginning. highly recommend

I'am so thankful &grateful for the care and attention . That for over a decade my fur family has received from the Vets & staff at VVC . I would not only highly recommend and refer VVC to others . I couldn't find anywhere else to take care of family as they have mine .

Haven't had a great experience here. Our dog has allergies that are well documented along with recurrent skin infections. Each time we took him to this vet, our concerns about how to prevent this from recurring in the future were ignored, in favor of putting our dog on antibiotics repeatedly, something we weren't comfortable with. This clinic had zero interest in discussing a proactive approach. We increasingly felt as if our dog was not properly cared for, and we were just expected to continually bring him in and spend $200 every 2-3 months, an exorbitant amount to take care of an issue as minor as allergies. The final straw that has led to us finding a new vet was multiple extremely rude phone calls with the receptionist (not the first time we've been treated unprofessionally by the reception at this office) where we were accused of being "non-compliant" and not bringing our dog in for a followup appointment we supposedly agreed to schedule. Neither my husband or I recall agreeing to schedule a followup appointment during the last visit (which cost $200+). Seems odd that this vet expected us to spend $200+ and then schedule a followup 14 days later.....how much more would that have cost? Not to mention that was not discussed in the plan of care. I never would have agreed to that - and now they are withholding my dog's medicine until we spend another $200 to bring him in again!!! My husband and I both proceeded to be attacked by the receptionist when it was determined that the vet prescribed pills to us under a DIFFERENT DOG's name, which the receptionist blamed us for. Not sure how a business putting our info under the wrong name is the customer's fault. This then created a problem when according to the chart, we were told that we agreed to this followup appointment (false)......how can it be determined anything is accurate when you can't even get my name right? We take better care of our dog than anyone I know. We constantly take him to the vet whenever he has an issue, and spend a lot of money on his care, medicine, special food, etc. And yet, we were literally treated as if we beat and starve our dog and are horrible dog parents because we think it's unreasonable to continually bring him in for the same minor issue. As a human being with much bigger health issues than allergies, I see my doctor less than this vet expects to be paid to see my dog. And from what we can tell, that is the key. Visits = money. It has been made very clear to us that this issue isn't about our dog's health, it is about trying to back us into a corner where we are forced to come in every 2-3 months to get medicine to adequately care for our dog. Don't bother being a patient at this clinic unless you want to continually throw cash at this place, and be treated like a criminal when you question anything.... Read More
