I feel bad for the local CVS employees in Pataskala. They are understaffed and underpaid. They need to unionize and get what they deserve. Too many companies care more about shareholders and less about customers and employees.

This is the worst most unprofessional pharmacy. They give you a time for pick up and when you come back at that time they aren’t ready. This happens every time. They charged me $170.00 more than they were supposed to and then made me wait 20 more minutes to fix their error. If you’re looking for a good pharmacy that cares this is not the place to go. I’ve given them ample opportunity to fix these problems and keep giving them my business but they have lost it now for good.

I've been to alot of pharmacies, and after moving to Pataskala, I just used Kroger out of convenience until my insurance company dropped them. (UHC) I tried CVS and was so happy I did. The staff are great. They are very respectful and non judgemental. I know they get short staffed, and at times, it's impossible to reach by phone, but I just stop in and usually on my way within a few minutes. I'm very happy with Pataskala CVS

Don't come here if you need a prescription. Might as well drive to another city, it'll be faster. Even with 6 employees nobody seems to know how to move faster than a snails pace. How many times can they tell people to wait another 30 minutes or it's an issue with the automated service, not their fault before this whole town gives up on them...

This is ABSOLUTELY the slowest pharmacy ever. Numerous times I've waited in line for 15+ minutes only to be told my scripts were not ready yet. Normally standing off to the side while watching why they tell nearly everyone coming through the line their scripts are also not ready. The final straw was tonight. Doctor sent it over around 1600 hours. After leaving work I got to CVS around 2030hrs. A woman was ahead of me and the tech was not finding said person in CVS' system. So the tech was waiting to talk with another co-work about it. Meanwhile there has now become a line of 3 or 4 more people. Instead of helping the other people in line the two techs start conversing about how they hate when people come in at closing time. I finally make it to the register only to be told my scripts that were sent over 4+ hours ago were not ready. The simple solution from the tech was "just stop in in the morning." While this is a fine idea, I work at 7am for 24 hours. I just don't understand I guess but it seems like it's every time I have something sent to this CVS there is some sort of delay.

This is worst pharmacy I ever had experience . 1 star too much for them. Many times they sent text messages about prescriptions ready to pick up but when I went to pick up medication, about 3 employees can’t find medication. 30 min I wait Drive throw with multiples car behind me finally they get new medication. So poor management. I regret to choose this cvs close to my home.

My husband went to the doctor on Thursday morning and that is when our doctor called in his refills to be filled. We were busy and so didn’t get to the pharmacy until Saturday and the prescriptions were never filled. Not because something was out of stock or back ordered they just didn’t fill them. This is not the first time this has happened. So frustrating!

I broke up with the pharmacy at CVS Pataskala tonight. Kinda bummer, I've been a good customer for - well, since they ran Rite Aid out of business on Oak Meadow drive, maybe 15 years ago? Anyway. Since the big 19 hit two years ago, I've watched as employee turnover went on and on. If anybody wanted to be there and help you, they lasted about four months and disappeared. Still, changing pharmacies after so long wasn't greatly appealing, either. So I stayed. Until now. Last night (2/22/23 weird date, huh?), I needed info on a script waiting for me. Simple, "yes/no, thanks." Called 6:30 pm; placed on hold, waited 8 minutes. Realize it's probably still jumping in there. Cut them some slack and make a mental note to call back about 8 pm or so. Did that, straight onto hold and I actually waited for 57 minutes. Yes, I'm that idiot. For wasting my time on eternal hold, l blow up your speakerphone to make you all crazy as you're making me with your harp music! (visual: a row of webby skeletons with phones to their heads) Phone finally gets picked up - and slammed immediately back down. I hit redial and get, "The pharmacy is closed". Did that just happen? Ok, everybody has busy days and their job can't be easy with the drive thru closed now. Will try again later on. Swung by at 7:30 tonight. Parking lot clearing out, for once! Thinking the line wouldn't be long, I yeeted in. Nobody being waited on at pharmacy counter, nobody in line and they close in 30 minutes. Cool, yeah? (Small mood lifter right there, admit it.) I stand there watching 4 employees deep in conversation. With each other. One guy was filling scripts and handing them off to a mature dark haired woman with a bun and a dry mouth; she would take the scripts and continue talking. Two others were enthralled with bun lady's story, and gave her their rapt attention. One guy glanced at me, then became busy stacking some pesky plastic boxes while he listened. Keeping the convo going full tilt, bun lady looks over at me like, "What do you want?" Uh. Ask, maybe? Not one of the four bothered asking me if I was there to pick up. Nothing. Some two and a half minutes go by, employees are leaning at bun lady who's now getting to the good part of her story. (At least speak up, if it's THAT good!) Nobody even acknowledges I'm standing there. Nada. Duh, right? I heard the speakerphone saying, "1 pharmacy call on hold" over and over every 10 seconds. (had to smile in spite of myself, there) Still nada. Yakketty blah, blah. Another couple minutes go by and my patience finally snaps. If any of the employees read this, I'm the one who yelled, "THANKS, BYE!" as I walked away. I know, I know, jerky move. But you made me that jerkess; I tried so hard to take it easy on you while trying to pick up one simple script. Tonight you had to try me; it's game over, loss goes to the home team. Readers, you have been warned. Nobody who can out-talk me and keep people listening like that should be working in that pharmacy.

My husband had surgery and when we went late morning to pick up his pain pills, they had the drive through closed due to "staffing". We didn't want to go inside then so I came back an hour before closing. They seemed to have their usual amount of staff but yet still had the drive through closed? After standing in line, I was told they were 'out of stock' for his pain meds. Usually they send text updates but we never received notice about it. That put us in an urgent situation to get it elsewhere before everything closed. They did tell us Broad St. CVS had it-- but the doctor would have to call it in there (since narcotics can't be transferred). We had to page the doctor after his office hours then drive in a panic to Broad street before they closed. It's been a month since then and I can't get through to their phone about MY prescriptions now. I've been calling for days. It's like they've quit accepting incoming calls. Terrible!

Terrible customer service. The pharmacy staff was rude. The drive thru is almost always closed due to staffing. In the main store it is hard to find a staff member to help and only option is the self check out.

Staff very unwilling to assist handicapped individuals or anyone with a disability. Drive through closed forcing a person who is on crutches to go into the store!!! Incompetent inept, arrogant, with no respect or morals.

Went to pick up a new medication and they did not give me what my prescription asked for. When confronting them later, in the week when I realized they messed up. When talking to the pharmacists they would not help me and instead wanted to charge me for the medication that they failed to fill properly. They are not to be trusted.

My family came to this CVS for our flu shots and covid shots because of the reviews on the pharmacists in the pharmacy and Ms. Jennifer in the Minute Clinic. 2 adults and two 5 year olds and they made it super easy. No cries and the easiest shots the kids ever had. Best experience ever! Thanks ladies!

I needed to make a quick trip for some toiletries and cold medication so I was glad this store was still open. They had various options for medication and travel sized toiletries. I was not in line long and the cashier was very friendly. Overall, a great location.

At 8:45 tonight, my son informed me he was out of Dexcom sensors. Panicked, I ordered through our normal mail order since not many pharmacies stock these and then just for fun thought I would call around to see if one might have some. The first one I called was at the Pataskala, OH location. In talking to the pharmacist, Ellen, she told me that she didn’t have any there, but that she orders them through Caremark for her daughter and that she would give me one and I could just pay her back when I received my order. I actually started tearing up over the phone. Another mom that completely gets the craziness of this disease. Amazing! Thank you so much Ellen! You completely saved me! I can now sleep in peace tonight without worrying about any crazy sugar readings! T1D moms unite!!!
