I took my 2018 ford motor home with only 29,000 miles for a basic front end alignment . Got a call back from the service advisor Greg Wise, who informed me that they inspected the car and found all the steering linkage is loose top and lower ball joints need replaced on both sides and also excessive play in the bearings and recommended re-pack in the bearings also to the tune of $3400. I know a little bit about cars and I took it to a reputable dealer who has specialized in alignments and frame repair, they have been in business for 63 years with a good reputation. They inspected the front end and found nothing wrong whatsoever with the vehicle. They did a the front end alignment for $165. I hate being lied to, and will never remove this review, even if the general manager calls and asked me to to . If you liked being lied to take your car here ha ha ha.

Never buy from Coughlin Ford of Heath. Ordered my dream 2022 F150 from Ericka Cravens little over a year ago to tow our family camper which I was repeatedly assured this F150 would easily do. 21,000 miles later I have a truck that even Ericka Cravens and Service Manager stated they wouldn't feel comfortable putting their own families in. I've had to bring it in for service 5-6 times with numerous warning lights and bells going off. Last couple of weeks the truck has died twice in traffic and it felt like transmission was falling out. First time they replaced rear axle and sensors. Week later (as we speak) it happens again, this time they replace front axle and sensors. Their solution? Try to upsell me to an $81k 2023 F150 offering me high $40's for my dream truck I owe $45k on. A brand new F150 a year old with 21,000 miles on with service records from the service department so long it looks like I've been shopping at CVS for days on end. And all they can do is try and upsell me. I'm stunned how pathetic Ericka Cravens and Coughlin Ford of Heath are. I've never experienced such abysmal service in 50 years of buying vehicle.

A bit annoyed by these guys. They wouldn't rotate my tires or check my brakes because they couldn't get the aluminum lug nuts (that Ford put on) off because of swelling. I was able to buy a special 10 dollar socket and do it myself. Either they were lazy or incompetent.

My saleswoman Tammy Wiseman picked my vehicle up to take it in for service and left me a loaner to use. It was the most amazing and convenient service! When it was finished, the service department called me to arrange payment and Tammy brought it back. So helpful for busy families!!

Everyone that spoke with me was respectful and helpful. I needed service done on my car and they made it easy to get it scheduled and took care of my car as if it were their own. Very pleased with the personnel, service, and work performed.

The worst customer service I have ever had from a dealership. Stay away from the service department. Service managers have no idea what they are doing. They only have one decent technician and they charge 2 hours to do a job that takes only 35 minutes to do @ a crazy 150.00 per hour is insane. i love my Ford Expedition but now thinking of never buying another one based on the level of service you can expect from this service department. Stay away

I brought my truck there because I have had great experiences with the Ford dealer but this is NOT the Ford dealer. The quality of the work and service is unbelievably low. You can't get anybody to call you back, you can't get updates and there is rarely anybody there to help you so you have to stand in their lobby forever. I took my 2020 Explorer Platinum there to have some front end repair done and the windshield replaced. Pretty minor stuff. It only took 2 weeks but now I have a new car where the paint on the hood and bumper cover do not match. Big sweaty, bondo covered arm prints on the dashboard from where they tried to reinstall the dashcam, Big bondo dust foot prints on the floor mats, and the passenger side windshield pillar that does not fit right and is held up with a screw. It looks like a child reinstalled the dash cam. There is a fresh ding/scrape that looks like something in the shop fell on the car. The workmanship in General is bad. I would recommend avoiding them for any type of collision repair; the Quality issues appear to be a cultural thing not just a series of small mistakes.

Coughlin Ford of Pataskala sold me a 2019 Ford Ranger "as new" in May of 2020. Via a mailing from the Ford Motor Company, I came to find out that I was not the first owner of the vehicle and the the factory warranty had been activated in December of 2019 at the time of the first purchase, 6 months prior to me purchasing the vehicle. I was aware that the vehicle had 2071 miles on it when I purchased it, but I was not aware that I was not the first owner of the vehicle. When I purchase a new vehicle, I expect that I am the first owner of the vehicle and that I will get the benefit of the full factory warranty. When I brought this to the attention of the general manager, Jay Casto, he promised to make it right by refunding the value of the "gap insurance" I had purchased and to extend the warranty on the vehicle by 6 the six months. When the promised check and extended warranty failed to materialize, I tried to contact the general manager, but he seems to be avoiding my calls. My advice is that if you are thinking of buying a new car from Coughlin Ford, be sure to verify that you will receive the full factory warranty and that you are indeed the first owner of the vehicle.
