Moving across the country is ordinarily a challenging process. U-Pack made it hassle-free. We called U-Pack, got a very reasonable quote (especially reasonable compared to competitors) and had a moving container delivered exactly when we needed it. The customer service was impeccable each time we communicated. Once dropped off, we had three days to pack it up and lock it and they took care of everything from there. They moved the unit from Ohio to MN and even stored it for us for a small fee until we could move in. They dropped the storage unit in front on our move day and had it picked up and out of the way the next day. Highly recommended!!!

After cleaning out Mom's house, there were a few things to take from Ohio to California. Mainly the desk my dad built. It seemed a big headache and cost to think about trying to rent a truck and do it myself. I was going to just forego taking the items but my kids said I would regret it. So I did a lot of research. I chose U-Pack for cross-country shipping and couldn't be happier. It was so super easy and affordable. I don't hand out "amazing" compliments often , but the whole process was AMAZING! They helped from beginning to end and they were in contact step by step. Everyone was super nice, professional and prompt. The unit was securely built and arrived clean. My brother, the packing guru, used straps to secure items. When I opened the door upon arrival in California, not a thing was out of place or damaged. It truly could not have been easier. We emptied the unit at our leisure (3 day window) and they promptly picked it up. I'm so glad I arranged to have items shipped. My kids were right - I would gave regretted not having my dad's desk. Thanks U-Pack for making it easy.

I've moved many times all around the country over the years and have used self-loaded, modular moving containers several times, whether U-Haul, 1-800 Pack Rat, Pods, or U-Pack/ABF. Of all these companies, I've found U-Pack/ABF to be the most efficient, pain-free experience by far. They honor their commitments when it comes to delivering a cube to your door in the stated time period, position the pod exactly how you want so that you can load your stuff easily into it, and give you a good 2 days to load it before they pick it up. Once picked up, you can check online for the status and location of your cube - something that one of the above companies that rhymes with Sack Hat once failed to do in my case when they lost my container for 2 months and gave me false statuses the entire time. Everything with U-Pack/ABF, meanwhile, has always been smooth, efficient, and transparent. If their cubes are too small for you (they each fit a studio's worth of stuff), then it's not much of a stretch to reserve space in one of their trucks and hire folks to help you with loading and unloading. Smooth sailing all around, and I'm happy to recommend them on a totally unsolicited basis.

Moved three cubes from Philadelphia to Lorain, Ohio. Drivers at both ends were VERY cooperative about where the cubes were placed and very skilled at placing them. I loaded the cubes myself with moving blankets and straps to hold things in place inside the cubes. Everything arrived in fine shape after loading and unloading from the truck and transporting them about 500 miles. Total cost was just over $1,300 which was $1,000 than a better known pod company quoted me for less volume, and smaller pods were easier to pack and unpack. Have already recommended this to my sister for her move. When you consider gas and tolls and time limits, worked out to be cheaper than renting and driving a truck from Uhaul or Penske.

Jonathan was great. However the hired movers, from mover and shakers, showed up very late. At the end they refused to move a China hitch for us, claiming they had to go and get the ubox back to uhaul. We hired them to move stuff. That is what they were paid to dk.Make sure you do not choose that moving company if you have someone pack the ubox.

I was happy with the U pack experience until it was almost over. I packed myself, my children loaded the cubes, and the driver picked them up in a timely manner. They were delivered to my home in NC when they were expected with no damage. We did pack very tightly so no movement inside cube I called on a Monday to have the picked up and was promised for Tuesday. I was happy as they were blocking the access for my refrigerator delivery on Wednesday Called them at 4:30pm on Tuesday to tell them they needed to be gone before noon on Wednesday and was told to not worry, truck would still get them Tuesday evening. Needless to say, I had to call at 10am Wednesday as still there. Finally got picked up at 1pm after I had to cancel refrigerator delivery. Ended good experience on Bad note!

We used upack 2 reloc cubes to move our 2 bed room apartment from cleveland ohio to Atlanta GA. with compared to others I find these cubes are cheaper and I found it contain more stuff what I thought of before loading the stuff, their service is faster. I got my stuff in Atlanta in less than a week. I will defiantly recommend upack. Generally I don't rate and don't give review but I thought this will be really helpful to others to choose from other moving options. Its very hard to decide when you plan for move. and I used this kind of moving option first time and I am glad that I chose this. I used full service move before and find this is far better than full service move option.

Moved from California to Ohio. They were 1200 cheaper than the competitors and everything went smoothly and was on time. Saved me from having to drive across country. Would use again.
