Place as a nice shooting range and a decent selection of firearms to rent. However if you’re buying a gun. I’d go anywhere else but here. 20% of your deposit is held for the background check and if failed they keep your deposit. My background check passed, however I never heard of a business practice such as this for buying guns. Shitty business practice and the customer service is terrible. Better off shopping at Walmart than here.

I try to donate my brother's army uniform to Parma armory, today, they only care for the fine display of his uniform not my brother's service for this country for 4 years, it missing few parts because my parents need them to keep his memories a live what he did for this country, I keep the uniform, with all due respect Parma armory I'm not coming to this place anymore.

Just finished an introduction to shooting class with Don and Dave. Don is a national treasure. I learned so much from the instructors. Both instructors were patient and knowledgeable and encouraging. The information presented was approachable and current I am a female and a part of the LGBTQ community. And a Democrat! ? and felt completely welcomed, respected, and valued.
Will be attending more classes, practicing with range time , and will be purchasing my first firearm from here. Nice work and thank you for making me feel so welcome.

I was visiting my Brother in Cleveland last week and he took me to the Shooting Center. The place is very impressive!! Spent time in the +V Digital Assault Survival Theater. The video scenarios are very realistic and get your heart pumping. I really learned so much. Thanks to everyone there! The place is so clean and feels so safe. I was really impressed with the 21 gun salute range. It's hard to imagine how you can have all those guns shooting and not smell gunfire. Incredible!! Wish I lived closer! Next time in Cleveland, I'll be back. I hope I see you soon! The nicest staff I've ever seen. Thanks again to all!!

This was my second time at the Armory, and I will be returning on Nov. 10th for the sentinel class. It was a comfort to have Harold Weseloh as our RSO. He quietly walked up and down the line making sure we were all safe and we were. He even helped clean up brass.

Over the years I have invested time and money at various shooting facilities around the Northeast Ohio area. Parma Armory has quickly become my go-to source for both range time and educational courses.
Yesterday, (10/26/24) I attended the Holster Drawing and Assessment Class instructed by Will, Dave S., and Justin, and left feeling totally satisfied with both the material taught and the overall course experience. The educational material was broken down into concise and clear topics of discussion, with real-world application to back it up. With decades of firearm experience between the 3, the instructors took time to address each individual's questions and needs in a one-on-one manner while demonstrating proper draw techniques tailored to various carry positions and concealment platforms. This was further supplemented by live-fire demonstrations and drills that helped reinforce the material taught and build confidence in each shooter.
I have participated in other educational classes and various shooting events at this location, and have always had a fun and safe experience!
5/5; will continue to recommend Parma Armory and it's fantastic team to everyone!

This was the first time shooting a gun for my girlfriend and I and we went here due to its high reviews and those reviews did not disappoint. Immediately dealt with Lenny up at the front desk who was very helpful and informative about the firearms they had to rent and recommended Harold (a.k.a Legend) for a private lesson and he was fantastic! I would recommend this armory to anyone who is looking to get into shooting or already experienced due to it's awesome range!

The check in process and gun counters should never have been combined. Now it’s just crowded in that whole area and you can’t look at guns or even ask questions let alone purchase anything without a customer standing in the way to check in the range. Meanwhile the gun counter guys are also checking people in to try and get the lines down. Kinda poor planning in the designer.

Great experience. This was me and my husbands first visit to Parma Armory, Lenny made us feel very comfortable as he welcomed us as first time visitors, he answered all the questions we had, he is very knowledgeable about firearms.
Gene trained me on the shooting range, he did an excellent job, making me feel very comfortable, he explained everything to me from the proper way to hold a firearm, how to load and fire. He also did a great job on safety tips and also very knowledgeable about firearms. Gene had so much patience with me. I learned a lot in one hour. I will be back soon! My husband he’s a professional he did a great job as expected!

I took a First Shots - Women's Only class here with instructor Candy Petticord. It was a very informative, down-to-earth introduction to firearms, and included personalized handgun instruction at the 5 Star Gun Range. I wasn't sure that I would feel comfortable in a co-ed introduction class, so I'm glad a women's-only option was available. Candy had a great sense of humor and provided a relaxing atmosphere so that we felt comfortable asking questions that, otherwise, we might not have had the confidence to ask. To any ladies that are firearm novices - I definitely recommend taking a class here with Candy!

I went to the range with my buddy today just to shoot our new guns and have a friendly competition. We were having a great time till Harold came by and made it even better! My friend and I were joking around seeing who had the best grouping and Harold came and gave us these small 1/2 inch black circles to shoot to have some more fun. My friend and I are a shit shot and were missing the 1/2 inch target so Harold comes by and tells us that there’s actually a small deflector the closer you go to the target; giving us a damn good laugh. Harold put 3 of those small circles together and told us that there would be a lot more spread now since they’re all close now. My friend and I were laughing with Harold. I gotta say that Harold is a treasure to have at Parma armory and truly makes it worth going there knowing we’re gonna have a good range safety officer. Let Harold know that he’s an absolute legend and that he should get a raise!
