Made a reservation and paid for a hitch to be installed. Some employee took it upon themselves to change the date and time of my reservation without even calling me to confirm if that worked for me. I was not made aware until I bring it my car in. So whoever did this should at least be written up, if not fired. Trying to get ahold of the GM cause I want someone to install the hitch before Saturday.

Was supposed to have a hitch installed today at 10:30. Ordered it over a week ago. Get there 15 minutes early to check in and was told by the lady behind the counter that my parts haven't arrived yet. Why I couldn't have been called and told this at any point during the past week is beyond me, but now I have to reschedule everything. Terrible communication and customer service. When I finally get the hitch installed, my review will be updated accordingly.

I used this Uhaul shop to drop off my truck after moving into my house. They wanted to charge 25 dollars to fold the moving pads (which I would have done beforehand, had other uhaul a not required it. They then claimed that I damaged the top corner of the truck. I had no recollection of any incident that could have caused damage. I still said that I bought the insurance to cover any damage. They said that it only lowers the cost of damage. I was wrong to not inspect the truck fully or completely understand how the insurance worked, but I put my trust that uhaul would do what is best for their customers and I do not feel that is what happened.

I rented a U-haul truck recently and it was a good experience. The truck cost $0.99 per mile plus a fixed fee. For a three hour rental, the truck cost $110. I didn't have anything to compare it to, but I found out later, that this was expensive. I rented a much larger truck from Penske for $110 for two days and only $0.55 per mile. Anyway, the truck performed flawlessly and the service was very good.

I reserved a 10ft truck today at 5pm. I got there about 15min early to do the paperwork, and found out that i had filled out 90% of it online. The women got me out the door in less than 5min which was great. Now, I made my reservation for 3hrs but i got everything done early so I brought the truck back at 6pm with filled tank, and under my estimated mileage. I walked inside and no one was at the desk. I heard two employees talking and singing in the office, plus i heard a baby in there as well. I thought ok, they'll be out in a minute. After waiting for 10min, i set the keys on the desk and walked out. No one came out of the office to see if a customer was waiting. I looked around to see if someone was outside to tell them "hey, no one was inside i left the keys" but didn't see anyone. I did see however a box truck with its driver side door open. Ive rented several trucks from this place as well as a friend of mine. Ive never had this kind of experience before and hopefully never again.

Can Never Fail with Supervisor Mark Hail Recently I needed help tying up a scooter into the back of a Uhaul, something I've never done before. Supervisor Mark Hail was more than happy to help out and took considerable time and effort to make sure my precious cargo was secure and ready for the 8 hour haul.

Let me preface this by saying we have had NIGHTMARE experience with this company. We ordered U-boxes for our move from Cleveland to Denver. Thought it was great at first, but it turned out to be the worst decision out of this whole ordeal. Started off great...this lady named Trish seemed to be doing a fantastic job helping us through this stressful time. She mentioned she is new and is not fully trained but she was nice enough. We scheduled our box to be picked up on Thursday (after hurrying to pack it up)...then we find out the next day that it was going to be pushed back to Friday. Oh, and in the meantime, we also realized we only needed 1 instead of 2. So, the box is picked up on Friday and sent off to the local storage unit...No one could tell us when it was going to be shipped off to Denver. We called every day, for about a week. Each time they said they'd call us back, mainly this trish lady. Eventually after several days, a guy named Shawn called us and tried to explain why our U-box was to be in holding for at least 3 days. I told him we did not care and that this should have been communicated PRIOR to us scheduling pick up and scheduling our trip all the way out to Colorado just to receive the box. BTW, this Shawn guy also mentioned he doesn't work for U haul...so uh why do we need to talk to him? Many of these people are so lacking any customer service skills and general knowledge about U-haul, U-box, delivering, and everything in between about moving. So why do they all work for U-haul? Why do they even have jobs? Each time you call them, you are being transferred over to another person for your issue to be handled. This happened today at least 5 times today. Was on the phone for at least an hour (transfer to transfer to transfer) to solve our billing issue. And all this is in ADDITION to a week's worth of attempts to even get a price for our 1 box instead of 2. Bottom line here: This company is an absolute nightmare. If you are looking to have the least amount of communication, while paying a company a bunch of money to handle your life in a U-box, then this is your place. If you are a decent human being, you should not do business with them. Never, ever again. I will try PODS next time.

Zak is the hitch installer here. He took Herculean effort and extra time to install a hitch onto my very uncooperative, rusty-holed 2004 Saturn Vue. Zak provided me with the best customer service experience I have had in years. A true star!
