Got a perm and a haircut. Seemed like things might have been OK, as this is the first time I've had a perm at another location in 25+ years. I knew the perm was "different" when I got home, but gave it a good 5-6 days to make sure it was OK; it wasn't. I set my hair when I got home and took it out the next day and my hair on top of my head was TOTALLY FLAT (so was the back because it wouldn't hold a curl either). I waited until about day 4 after the perm to wash my hair and set it again. And again, my hair was so flat on top of my head that I wouldn't even go into the stores with my husband on the way home. It parted down the center and laid flat. The stylist told me her manager would call me, no one did, but that didn't surprise me. I am in the process of contacting someone at their website. I paid $84.30 and then had to go to Penney's about 8 days letter to get a REAL PERM and had to pay $96.00 there! Did they think I was doing that just for the hell of it! By the way, my hair is so thick on top now after the perm and after setting my hair when I got home from the perm, the set lasted 4 days! I've sent a letter to their online Customer Care and no response in about 5 or so days. SINCE FIRST WRITING THIS, I WAS CONTACTED BY A DISTRICT MANAGER, TOLD HER ABOUT THE LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS BY THE STYLIST, THAT I WAS TOLD HER MANAGER WOULD CALL ME, AND THAT IT DIDN'T HAPPEN. THE DISTRICT MANAGER HAS REIMBURSED ME FOR THE MONEY I WASTED FOR A SO-CALLED PERM AND HAIR CUT. Actually when I came home, and after washing my hair a few days later, I noted immediately that one side of my hair was longer. Normally, when I get a haircut, the stylist would pull the hair down around the sides of my face and at the back sides of my hair to make sure it was even. One side was almost an inch longer. I took care of it myself. Time to move on.
Stylist: Tammy. The perm/haircut was not a success. Had to pay $96 for another perm a few days later.
