This was my worst ever hospital visit! I have been on antibiotics for 3 days for an eye infection and antibiotic drops. Well now it's spread to my other eye and it's even worse. I saw a doctor for maybe 3 minutes and all she said was that I have to get into an eye doctor asap. She didn't even look at my eyes up close! And she wasn't very friendly either. She acted like I was going to give her the plaque! I will never come to this hospital again! Keep your family and friends safe, choose another hospital!

This is the second time at tripoint emergency center in the last two years. Both times we left after sitting for over three hours in cold rooms and feeling like we were a bother. The receptionist however was very nice.

I've been in a triage room for 4 1/2 hours at Tripoint ER. No call light. They just left me here and said they're busy. All I need is an iv bag. I'm terribly dehydrated from being sick for two days. They put the IV needle in at 6:30 this morning and haven't been back with a bag of fluid. Someone could die in this ER and they would never know it.

Absolutely the worst place to go in NE Ohio. 10 hours in the ER and still haven't seen a doctor. Unless you are on your deathbed and have no other choice of hospitals, avoid TriPoint like the plague. People move at a snail's pace and most of the staff are sitting on their phones surfing the internet while the ER is packed with sick people.

Went to the Emergency room had a swollen foot for three days. Could not move my toes. Once I arrived at the E.R Dr. Jackson came to the consulting room and stated that it appeared to be gout. He explained the next steps and the nurses swept me to x-ray and did blood work. While waiting on the x-ray and results the second shift staff came in at 7:00 pm. I waited until 9:00 pm before Dr. Hilman came into my room. He looked at my foot and stated that the labs were good and that he would have to see the x-ray results. He also stated that the only way to tell for sure if it was gout would be to aspirate the fluid from the joint. He then boldly said, however, "I am not doing that tonight". I was in shock at his lack of compassion and no knowledge of what was going on with me. He also stated that he would not prescribe any pain medication because he was not sure that it was gout and left the room never returning. My X-rays were never discussed at all, it was like I was forgotten about as a patient and a human being. I literally had to go to the hallway at about 10:00 pm to grab the nurse and demand my discharge. My co-pay was $200 and I left feeling worse than when I arrived at 3:00 pm earlier in the day. How is it that the experienced Dr. Jackson is so compassionate and sure of his diagnosis? he surely kept the crowd moving. However, when he left for the day the ER went to hell. Dr. Hillman and the evening shift showed a disregard for my needs, the dr. was cold and disengaged. He showed plenty of arrogance and lacked a quality bedside manner. I am disappointed in the service that I received and have been to this hospital on several occasions and never have I been treated so badly. We use the hospital on many occasions and the wait times have gotten worse. Nevertheless, the only person moving fast was the billing clerk to collect the $200 co-pay before I even saw Dr. Hillman. Waisted time should have just continued suffering, this is why people refuse to go to the hospital.

I busted my head open working on a truck and didn’t want to just go straight to a Clinic or the ER if I didn’t need to. Luckily my general practitioner works out of this hospital. They brought me in extremely quick for not having an appointment, determined that my injury was no more serious than needing a few stitches. I was in and out in less than 2hrs.I know a lot of folks like to talk down on the speed in which they were or weren’t helped… This was not the case for me this time. Thank you to all who helped ?

The ER was slow when we arrived and we were triaged within 15 minutes. Unfortunately, that is the only positive thing that I can comment on. With the exception of one nurse that we saw for 5 minutes, none of the staff demonstrated any care or compassion. There were several who were openly hostile and one team member was abusive. In addition, communication was extremely poor. They did not take a thorough history and they did not allow us the opportunity to share additional information that we thought might be relevant in diagnosing and treating.

Zero good experiences with this hospital. I really wanted them to succeed... local hospital going up against the "Big Guys", new facility, friends who work there... But it's truly awful. The wait times are awful, you will sit in the ER for hours on the best of days waiting for help and I'm sure that has gotten MUCH worse since covid. The staff is largely overworked and/or incompetent and generally lacking in empathy. Especially the ER, which I believe is a management problem... everyone seems to hate their job. If you are admitted and elderly, you are likely to be ignored because you're "going to die soon anyway". Their main check in desk is automated and it's hard to find a human so it feels like a horror movie. If you are looking for somewhere to die, this is the place for you. If you want help? Forget it. 1). The MRI techs decided they knew more about what my doctor needed than the WRITTEN orders provided by my doctor. They never asked me why my doctor had asked for contrast, they just decided I didn't need it. so I had to come back and get a 2nd MRI when it should have been done correctly the first time. 2). After going to the ER for heart issue and being released, they made light of my concerns, then sent me home and out the door with the IV line still in my arm. 3). After going to the ER, at 11 pm, i was told I would be released, but nobody came back with my release forms. Finally, after waiting 5 hours at 4 am, I went and found someone to help. My nurse came back in, no apology, gave her excuse as she had "forgot about" me. 4). My grandmother was hospitalized with a respiratory problem (pre-covid, she has been gone for several years). They pretty much ignored her because of her age and was going to "die anyway". I'm pretty sure they dropped her also. She lived to be 98 I could go on and on, but I think I made my point.

I was taken to this ER by ambulance bc I severely broke my ankle. Everyone was kind and tried to help keep my pain under control but that's about all I have to say for the positives. My ankle was dislocated on top of multiple breaks so it needed to be reset. Unfortunately, that wasn't done correctly at all. I was told "maybe" I'd need surgery by the dr on duty and sent home to follow up with an Ortho I didn't have (and told them the same). My paperwork was printed off and my OB was listed as the doctor I should follow up with. WTF? It took me 3 days to get in with an orthopedic dr and I was in unimaginable pain. He was completely professional but it was obvious he was baffled as to why I was released out into the wild v admitted. He sent me directly to the ER and I was in surgery the next day. Unfortunately due to the trauma it turned into two surgeries in one week. I wish I would have checked Yelp when I was laying in the street waiting for the ambulance to come

Worst care I have ever seen. My family member has always come home worse than they went in. Come back home bruised and felt as they weren’t taken care of. They’re not taken care of when my family isn’t there and then after the last time there my family member is now in hospice and they went in for one problem that was fixed. If you care about your family member I recommend another hospital.

Physician came in diagnosed streptococcus, didn't see any one agin for an hour, then after that still know one came in to progress the next steps and get use discharged, this medical system has really gone down hill since merging with University Hospital. Can't get Doctors appointments for critical care, urgent cares are over run and no one doing anything at ER, dirty rooms, no service, people giggling and joking around. IS this a Pandemic?

Ok so they're great once they actually help you. They're very slow. It can take 2+ hours with no one in the waiting room. They're nice and offer great treatment. The wait time regardless of how many people you remind that you still exist, is pretty bad. That's why I'm giving 2 stars.
