They never have enough of anything. It's a mess all the time. And make sure all your coupons and discounts come before paying. It happens to me every time. And the cashier will tell you all about herself and everyone else. She had to let everyone know she was called in and only slept a few hours. She's always complaining about something.

Waited on the store to open at 8am. Ladies unlock the door and block it to tell me they won’t be open today lol ok? Rude much? then they all proceed to have a meeting outside to smoke cigarettes and laugh. Like that made a lot of sense

This store is so messy and they never have anything! Nothing stocked they always have carts in the way! Higher management needs to step in and do employee inventory! This store sucks I don't go there much anymore..

This is the worst dollar general I've ever been in. You literally cannot get down 1/2 the aisles. I asked if it was truck day, trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. But no. I went yesterday to get the "today only" deals... but as the shelves were empty I couldn't get anything. Had a quick question, and the manager was rude!!! I even tried applying for a job there... they obviously need help.... no response. Here's a tip, close the store for a day, all hands on deck, offer lunch and get the store organized.

The Tall gangly manager with the brown hair and glasses has a ATTITUDE PROBLEM! Makes asking a simple question into something no one wants to deal with.

Nothing is stocked and coupons don't seem to be updated in the system. I asked if the discount would be applied at the end of the transaction and was told yes. I was supposed to save $5 and the clerk basically shrugged their shoulders when it didn't work.

I think 90% of the people working here might be on something. The store is a DISASTER! Must really be hard to find good help. Besides that...its parking is good ?

I use to love this place, but there is nobody stocking the shelves and everything is blocked by carts full of unopened boxes stacked 7ft high. This has been an on-going problem. Please if you have a child think twice about bringing them in. It's only a matter of time that something is going to fall on someone. I find the place a complete waste of my time, it's just full of bare blocked shelves. It's a pity this store has come to this.

Dollar General is one of my favorite stores. The price is almost always right and they always have what you’re looking for. My store ( the store nearest me ) is always neat and clean. I have been into stores where the isles are a mess and you can’t find anything. The only reason I give them 4 out of 5 stars is because outside the store always has so much trash just laying around. Come on clean up people.

Was at the Dollar General in Painesville..very rude cashier today..Usually they are very nice..but not today..ill stick to the dollar general in Fairport..much nicer employees..I guess I bothered her..she actually had to work..
