The owner Matt takes advantage of exert and under knowledged boat owners I’d highly recommend getting a second opinion prior to letting him repair or quote any job. Disgusting somebody would do that!

I dropped my boat off because of a serious problem with the kicker motor, Mike was unable to fix or offer much advice. While it was there I asked him to install a marine radio and antenna, I showed him the general area I thought it should be but trusted his judgment with the final decision, boy was that a mistake. Mike mounted the radio and mic directly in the path of the throttle, I was unable to accelerate the boat out of Geneva marina. Unbelievable. He seems to be impatient, busy, and unhappy with every conversation you have with him.

Very kind receptionist other than that , was the only good experience shoddy workmanship on a repair on aluminum boat and the owner is exceptionally rude. He should consider retiring if his job is that aggravating.

Rip Off Artist!! Took my boat for simple "tune ups" to make sure it was good for the season, a couple thousand dollars later my boat was in the water. 1 of the 2 props worked!!!! the following Fall came around and I got a flier in the mail to store and winterize my boat there, I very hesitantly did so. The following spring I paid an insane amount of money for his services, my boat was disgustingly dirty and then to top that off he says oh yeah there is also a spring charge of another $700 dollars I forgot to mention even the flier said "winter storage and return to water"! He dropped my boat off AT THE WRONG MARINA so after a morning of searching for my boat I found it with nobody in sight and HAHAHA now one of the ENGINES DOESNT EVEN RUN!!!!

Boating Headquarters is the best place in North East Ohio for Boat repair and maintainance services. I have had many boats over the last 30 years on Lake Erie between Sandusky Ashtabula and many places in between. Mike and his staff provide incredible services to the boating community We have used them for the past 6 years and couldnt be happier with the service we get from Boating Headquarters, everthing they do for us is explained in detail and why its needed and they have been right every time we use them. If you have a boat in Northeast Ohio I strongly suggest you use the professionals at Boating Headquarters

Boating headquarters is by far the worst mechanic shop. Had my boat for over a month and couldn't fix a simple fuel related issue with my motor. The owner had no idea what was the problem. He expected me to just throw money and parts not heading changed. Told me so many lies like oh your prop and hub is bad and that's why you only have 3/4 throttle and not full throttle. Took the boat out after it was all said to be fixed and wouldn't you know ... Same exact problem! TAKE THE BOAT OUT AND RUN IT!! So you know exactly what your trying to fix!!! The boat sits for a month and nothing was done to it. Excuses on why he hadn't gotten to it. Then he has the nerve to tell me he doesn't have time to fix it. Are you kidding me? I paid you to fix my motor and not just put parts on it that were not the cause of the fuel starving issue. Finally had enough, and picked my boat up. Never again! Boating headquarters has p*** poor diagnostic abilities and just wants customers to throw money until they find something that actually fixes the problem. Insist on an actual estimate. Walk away when they give an excuse on why they cannot give an estimate until they rack up hourly rates doing nothing. If you want poor service, lack of communication, running up shop rate hours for improper diagnostics and months of storage until they look at your boat.... Boating headquarters is the place!!!!!
