This company is always 1-2 hours past your scheduled appointment every year. Way to clients.

This is a hard-working family owned/operated tax-preparing business. They work long hours, handle multiple customer discrepancies, and are very thorough when it comes to their documents. Not to mention the owner is a notary. :)

I have been going to J D Bookkeeping for years; never an issue. Outstanding service. YES, you must be organized, and it it your responsibility to bring all of you documents. 100% satisfied with the office, staff, and the services they provide. We do drive an hour for our appointments, and will continue to do so; worth my drive and time.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I have to drive a little ways, but the service is well worth it! I've been coming for years, and I enjoy the pit stops along the way.

It never fails we get IRS notices and penalties each and every year because things were not submitted properly on efile or not included when she said she sent stuff in. Will be switching next year.

This company is clearly over its head. Way too many clients and a very bad filing system leads to late filing and in our case a lot of late fees and interest that we had to pay. After four years of this (and promise after promise that next year would be better) we switched accountants and discovered that our returns were so messed up we are having to amend the past three years and pay a lot more in taxes. Sure they don't charge as much as other companies but you'll spend a lot of time on the phone with the IRS which is about as fun as a tooth extraction.
