**Review: Cash America Pawn**
Cash America Pawn is beyond the worst pawn shop I have ever dealt with. The staff are incredibly rude and disrespectful. They sold my TV, which I had pawned on 7/12, without any notice or warning. I went to pick it up today, 8/6, only to find out it was no longer there. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and shows a complete lack of respect for their customers. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Avoid at all costs!

My fiancé and I pawned our Xbox (cords and all), controllers, and a charging dock a couple of weeks ago. The people were nice, but not very professional. I wasn't told when I pawned it that payment to reclaim it had to be made in cash. Frustrating, but not a big deal. We paid for it and left. When we got it home and unwrapped everything that they had plastic wrapped together, everything was there, except the HDMI and power cords. Some of the most important parts, were missing. When I called to ask about them, "I don't know what could have happened to them" is all I was told.I trusted my belongings to be kept together and to be taken care of. How does something you NEED to operate a gaming console just 'go missing'?

They tried to take advantage of me telling me they can only buy a new PC in the box for $250 that cost $949.00. When they got used beat up PC for $300.00 and up.

Okay so I brought a damn near brand new 36" samsung monitor in to pawn so I could pay a bill. So I came in with my brand new monitor and said all I need is like 40 bucks. I literally had a conversation with this lady behind the counter about how I hated to have to pawn it but at least I didnt have to buy it again. She looked everything over and then said specifically "Yeah we can hold onto it for a while" and we can get you that 40 no problem. She went and printed some paperwork and brought it back. As I signed my name on the paper like I had many times before on a loan, I asked her "so how long do I have to come pick this monitor back up before there is another charge"? She looked in the system and gave me a date which was just south of a month. She gave me the money and I bounced...Just an hour ago today (which is 2 weeks from when I initially pawned the monitor) I called into Cashland on Woodville RD in Oregon Ohio and I was shocked to hear that I had brought in a $240 Samsung monitor and sold it outright for $40. Now for some reason they would not let me speak with the woman that I spoke with when I initially came in to pawn it. Now I am sure that Cashland gets their fair share of Crackies coming in and selling them 55" tv's for $40 or whatever, but thats not me and I dont care how long I had done business with this store...I will never do it again..and I strongly urge new customers to do EVERYTHING you can to not go into this snakepit of a business. I normally let bygones be bygones but....this is over the line..they basically stole my monitor, called me a liar and then would not let me speak with the worker that initially helped me (who was new by the way). Dont do it...please do not do it. There are many other places where they treat people better What happened is the new employee printed off the wrong information in the system and then someone that worked there more than likely said to themselves "ooh I like that huge monitor! ...I will pay 40 for that all day"...Im not a detective or a Rocket Scientist but what I just experienced only has a few explanations...Especially when they could not tell me when the monitor would be put in the floor to sell. Yall do yall but keep in mind that Cashland in Oregon Ohio on Woodville RD is..well...I guess thats enough...gotta get back to my 24 inch monitor.
