They had a systems error which provided false info in my account and waited 10 days to notify me. This error by TD Ameritrade charged my account $8,200. Now you have to wait hours on the phone to reach anyone, since the local offices are closed. It's a fight to get your own money back. I reported this to the SEC. They will investigate . If your lucky and do reach a rep, they said , I can not speak to a manager, they are working on the problem and have no idea of how long before and if my money will be returned. Anyone thinking of opening an account with TDAMERITRADE, should run the other way. Ameritrade, the nightmare in of brokerage's.

I was shocked to see the negative reviews when looking for TDA's address in Beachwood. I have been a well-satisfied customer for years. During 2020, I do remember a long hold on the phone once for a call after-hours, but when the operator came on the phone, he was incredibly helpful, and frankly, it seems delays have been the norm with many types of businesses during COVID. I've had two different TDA representatives and both were proactive and always responsive. I can imagine that there will be some changes resulting from the Schwab acquisition of TDA, but I'm confident that everything will work out well in the end.

Do not invest with TD they will take your money out of your account and you won’t be able to use it. Do not complain on Facebook they will answer you once then block you from contacting them completely. Do no open an account with them. If robinhood or webull do the trick then open with them. Just terrible company to work with. Once you complain they will research and have someone from a local branch call you. I don’t answer numbers I don’t know. At this point I just want my money back or want to invest. Since I deposited my money I am down 4x what I could have made bc of there joke services.

Called and was told wait on phone was 20 min. The local offices are closed. I couldn't wait on phone that long. Had to get questions answered elsewhere. May switchTo etrade.

This is a review of the national site and follow up from local Beachwood branchI joined after hearing about Kodak getting in on the blockchain movement and starting their own Kodakcoin I told my wife we should invest a small amount of money. So i set up my account and there are tons of things to read and agree to. ( well read thoroughly to understand how companies like this work) , i guess i was pretty naive to think you could just jump in and buy some stock.So i thought i was getting my stock at 9.20/share as it was listed under orders. What i didn't understand was I did not buy at "market" price so there it sat until the next day with no movement. I called customer service and the woman Brenda was very nice and said I was set to buy at "limit" which if someone wanted to sell to me the system would work, and apparently this is the default setting.Anyway she told me what to do and i was all set and ended up paying $2 more a share which was ok. There are so many variables in the market now it is no fun to just buy a stock and watch it grow. Everyone is in for the quick buck.I will say though a week later I just receieved a call from the local TD rep in Beachwood Jordan who asked questions about why I joined, long term goals etc.and they are there to help with guidance which I thought was nice.
