“Celebrated our son going to the 4th grade and passing his tests. He loves to swim. They have an open clean pool. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Came here for a special screening of channel 5/Andrew Callahagn's new movie. The staff was fantastic and very helpful. The concessions were alright, kinda pricy. The seats in the upper balcony were tight and not tall people friendly. I hope I can come back for another event in the future.”

“The concept of this hotel-brewery that's dog friendly is so awesome! The rooms are very trendy with record players and in shower beer fridge. The layout of the hotel with rooms opening to the Barrell room and grounds with walking paths around the ponds are great as well. The morning beermosa was super good!The only reason this did not get 5 stars is because the lack of employees is noticeable with lack of direction. The employees you do see are very helpful and nice. But the hotel and restaurant seem to be short staffed and you have to find someone to help you.Also the dog park and grounds are a cool concept but need some attention. The dog poo bags were empty and looked like they had been for some time, which means no one picks up after there dog.Would recommend especially for a dog friendly unique stay and everything in one spot!”

“This place is in a great location, in downtown of Columbus. It's on a strip walking distance from the most amazing food places. We came for a festival, and were greeted, everyone is respectful, professional and friendly. There's about 11 floors I believe. Semi-ok Fitness center, 2 peleton bikes and treadmill with some dumbbells. Only complaint is room service only came by once, not sure how that works. Otherwise the rooms have a cool frat house kind of vive”

“Check in was easy and friendly service. My room was clean and quiet. Wi-Fi was good for streaming and video calls. I had an early flight, and the shuttle was running and there was even coffee available at 4:30 a.m., even though breakfast was not until 6 a.m. If I had fewer bags, I could have walked to the terminal. Everything I needed for this particular trip was provided by Fairfield!”

“Stayed here for the first time last week and will definitely be back. Hotel was well maintained and my room was very comfortable. Staff was friendly and efficient. Our check out time was very busy but it was handled very professionally. The valet was convenient and retrieved our car quickly. Overall, a great place to stay in Columbus.”

“Probably the nicest hotel room i have ever stayed in, also note this is the very first time i have ever written a review and i have stayed in hotels all over the country this time i felt the need to write a review because of how nice this room is.Haven’t had the free breakfast yet so can’t comment on that but you will have no complaints about the room!!!”

“Absolutely loved my stay here! Great size room, was on top floor. Watching the planes come in was pretty cool. Fitness center wasn’t bad, Breakfast was VERY GOOD. The coffee machine in breakfast area was out but all the staff there did everything they could to bring out more coffee and was very respectful. It was a very busy morning with it being a weekend and the service was great! Would definitely stay here again!”

“We took my mother-in-law there for her birthday. We had a very good dinner at Brew Brothers. The prices were good and the portions they gave us were really good. We went to do a few of the races. The track is amazing. Its one of my favorite tracks. We went and played some slots. They have a nice assortment of games to play. We had a great time.”

“DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU OWN A KIA. My car along with someone else’s got stolen out of their parking lot overnight. Their cameras were not working and they did not notify me of this. They busted my window, tore apart my steering column and took off while somehow the hotel workers did not notice. I had things in my trunk and if they had told me about the cameras being down, I would not have left anything in my car and maybe not even stayed there. The staff did not help me other than notifying police. I was not accommodated in any way and all I got was an I’m sorry while I waited several hours to be picked up.”

“Location is great, super easy access to the highway. The room was fine, there were water stains on the ceiling, and one of the outlets was basically falling out of the wall, but besides that it was fine. The price for three nights was super good. The breakfast was fine. The only complaint was that no one came to clean or change towels the whole time we were there. Not a deal breaker, but it was advertised that the room would be touched up each day.Would stay again!”

“My stay at Tru by Hilton in Columbus was a mix of positive and negative experiences. On the positive side, the front desk representative was courteous and accommodating, providing a friendly atmosphere upon arrival. The availability of a washer and dryer was a convenient and helpful amenity. The extension of the check-out time until 12:30 was particularly appreciated, allowing for a more relaxed departure.However, the presence of ongoing maintenance work was a significant disruption, especially when attempting to work in the lobby. The noise and activity proved to be a hindrance to a peaceful and productive environment.Despite these setbacks, other aspects of the stay were positive, and the front desk representative's friendliness and the convenience of laundry facilities were notable highlights. Overall, the extension of the check-out time added to the positive aspects of the stay, providing flexibility and convenience.”

“Everything was good, Just after i requested a late check out and they gave it to me, but anyways at the normal check out time the housekeepers knock at my door and almost get into my room, other than that everything was amazing and still i recomend this place a 100%”

“Nice hotel, beds could be softer and a bigger tv set would have been nice, the room was clean but it still had dust, we had to wait for the room to be checked before we could have it would have thought more dusting and the front of frig out have been cleaner since having it check but not bad for a night stay definitely could not stay here for then one night I would need a softer bed”

No lasting impressions & no complaints.BATHA medium-sized bathroom, with a surplus of towels! They're a bit thin & on the smaller side, but the quantity makes up for it.The combination shower had excellent water pressure & bath products were pre stocked. Ventilation was also strong.TV & ENTERTAINMENTDated on the entertainment center, featuring a ~40" mounted Panasonic SD TV. “The place was great. To me it was quiet and relaxing. The acting manager was great. With any place there will be minor things because everyone doesn’t follow the rules especially no smoking. I did smell cigarettes and weed. That is hard to police. I give two thumbs up!Rooms: They were quite sufficient for my needs. The wi-fi was good. Great cable selection. Would consider living there.Food & drinks: There were some nice restaurants nearby and plenty of fast food available.”

“Docking a star because the pool isn't operational yet but otherwise for its price point this is a solid stay in the area for its price and will likely be my go-to stay throughout the year when I have business in Columbus and nearby. Rooms are clean and smell great, everything works, Wi-Fi is strong and nearby amenities and places to eat are outstanding. good parking, great staff. quiet. Does not have a business office or meeting space on site if that's one of your needs but without going into elaborate detail, there's a few cheaper hotels nearby but they're cheaper for a reason. Pay the extra and get a stay here instead for a sound night's rest before heading out to wherever you have to in the morning.”

“Room was super clean. I got the jacuzzi suite, they have reasonable prices. Breakfast was good too, lots of options unlike other hotels with the grab n go. “KIMBERLY the front desk representative was AMAZING!!!! She was pleasant every time I interacted with her, which were several times regarding food and location of different places. I initially called the front desk for information regarding breakfast and from that time on she addressed me by name.I did not have a vehicle so she was so gracious in accommodating me for food and pointing me in directions that I could walk. I did not have to even give her my name again, she immediately remembered our call and just was so pleasant to interact with and soooooo very helpful not just with me but I witnessed her interacting with other guests.I must also say every employee I ran across in this hotel treated me and was very kind.”

“I’ve been at this place for about three months now and the managers the workers are polite their respectful they’re even nice to my kids. They even call them into the office and give them candy and say hi to them and talk to them! It’s a very well clean place and I enjoy staying here.”

“I had stayed here before and decided to give it another chance. Big improvement. Clean and friendly. Inexpensive too. Good job. Breakfast bar was a little weak, but Cracker Barrel is nearby lol.”

“The reason for the low review: the health department shut down the pool on the first day of our stay and they didn’t fix it for the whole stay (Thursday-Monday), the beds were super uncomfortable, and the breakfast was ok but the eggs were very soft (maybe they were frozen, idk) and the baked goods were kind of stale. From shift to shift, the staff didn’t seem to know what was going on. There was a sign about the pool being closed but second shift knew nothing about it and then first shift the next day also had no clue it was closed. The vending machines were also out of products. Also, the WiFi was horrible.”
