Our daughter is very happy with the attention she gets at Kendal! It seems to be the perfect balance of structure and play, and she really likes that there are kids of several ages there.We love the grand-friends program and are eager for more intergenerational programming as Covid precautions continue lifting.

Not only am I a previous employee and absolutely loved their curriculum and all around vibe of KELC, I trust the staff to care, teach and keep my OWN daughter safe, she is starting year 2 of preschool in the fall, I couldn’t be more happy with how much she’s grown and learned.

Welcome to Kendal Early Learning Center, a Step Up To Quality Five Star rated program, located inside Kendal at Oberlin, in Oberlin, Ohio. Our unique Intergenerational Program combined with the Creative Curriculum provide a balanced approach for young children to learn and grow. We provide programming for preschool children and we currently have openings available. KELC is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and has attained a Five Star Rating from the State of Ohio. Kendal is very proud of our small intimate setting which provides an opportunity for children and their families to experience the true meaning of extended family and a strong sense of community life
