This is the Cheapest, quickest, and easy to deal with muffler shop around!! Don't be fooled by the high priced / name brand places. Allstar Discount Muffle says it all... They are ALL STARS at a Discount Price. Check them out... you won't be disappointed or leave with an empty wallet..!!

We have had nothing but good experiences with All Star in Oberlin up until this point. But when I dropped my car off this morning I was made aware that the job was a 1.5-2 hour long job once they took it back, there weren’t many people ahead of me. 4 hours passed and I called to check on it, they said they were about half done and it was going smoothly. My husband called 2 hours later and they said it was almost done. Half an hour later I went in and the owner Dennis was very rude. He got an attitude with me and said that he didn’t think we needed it quickly because I left, I have 4 kids 5 and under and couldn’t stay there and wait with them all. So then he told me it would be another 40 minutes before it was done. Needless to say, the attitude and disrespect I was shown today we will not be using them anymore. We are so disheartened because we really loved them in the past.

Would not recommend the Oberlin shop at all. Employee at counter totally rude and disrespectful. No customer service ability at all. Get treated better at Walmart. Also don’t advertise that you are custom exhaust experts when you tell customers to go elsewhere.

Dennis the owner is a very cool chill guy and he knows his stuff. We sat and talked about everything from comics to real estate. All while getting an almost complete exhaust done on my Sebring for under 300. If I could give ten stars I would.

Great customer service. Took my car in to see what a squeaking noise was. Fair prices. Also went and checked rest of vehicle for other problems and were pointed out. Very thorough in their services.

It’s hard to find good reliable mechanics, but these guys are the exception to the rule. Had a muffler pipe break off the flange and they had it fixed quickly. I appreciated being shown what needed to be done, along with several options for the
repair. The price was also very reasonable.
They’ll have my business again when my car needs one of their services.

So awesome.. fixed my broken exhaust pipe by cutting and welding a new piece in.. another mechanic wanted to put in a whole new exhaust.. 1000$.... They charged me 63$. Friendly and quick.. 5 stars

I wanted to give a good review since I've heard many good things about the place. I had my rear brakes replaced last December there. First they tell me they didn't need replaced, so I ask them to order the brake pads anyways. I come back next day cause I heard squealing in my brakes and they said when they took the pads off they crumbled apart and was glad i had them fixed. I told them I thought the front ones needed replaced as well. Again they said, no they're fine. Few months later I go back having issues with brake/abs light being on. I tell them I believe my front brakes need replaced they were last changed at 88,000 miles. I have over 141,000 miles on my car. They look at my car again then tell me not only do I need new brakes, calipers but also new brake hoses and lines. I let them replace these parts. After I drove all weekend on a business trip. My brake/abs light came back on. I take it back to all star. They look over my vehicle and tell me they didn't tighten the brakes. After they retightened my brakes that seemed to do the trick. 3 days later all my lights go back on the brake/abs lights. This time they failed to put the cap back on the brake fluid. They flushed out the brake fluid system and replaced it then reset the code that kept showing up. I thought this did the trick. But the lights kept coming back on. I take it to a dealer and they showed me under the car. What a shoddy job allstar did on my brakes and how they left the old brake line on as well. Toyota made sure all brakes were tightened and good. I called allstar to complain and asked to be compensated for my unpaid time from work because I had to deal with these issues. The guy that answered was not happy that I complained about having to come back to his shop and now a dealer to get my car fixed. He said he buys all his parts from Toyota and will never buy anything from them again. Then rudely hung up on me. It's not toyotas fault that allstar can't properly put parts on the vehicle. Toyota tightened my brakes and cleaned things up and I'm not going to Allstars again. I gave them 2 stars only because they didn't charge me to retighten the brakes and flush out the brake fluid system. Otherwise it been 1 star, I felt like they thought I was stupid and didn't take me seriously. I had my Dad come with me when the lights came on the 3rd time to back me up when they failed to put the brake fluid cap on and it sprayed everywhere. I felt disrespected when I called them the last time and asked to be compensated for my time because I had to miss 2.5 days of work with no pay due to their negligence. Also everytime I went to the shop, they never took me to the work area to show me what my brakes and everything looked like, yet they took everyone else to the back to show them their car before and after they worked on it. I felt degraded and like I said, I'll never use their services again. Maybe their parts are cheaper, but I'll never know how they got almost 5 stars.
