I love the manager of this SW store. She is awesomely knowledgeable and friendly. I have spent lots $$ here, (painters doing my big old house this spring!) As well as remodeling projects. And of course SW is well known for their high quality paint!

I was planning to re-paint a vanity and the salesperson told me I needed to sand it down and then use the Sherwin Williams primer prior to painting. I asked her if Liquid Sandpaper would work and she had no idea what I was talking about. That should have been my first warning. So I bought her recommended primer and after spending 2 weeks sanding the wood, a friend told me her advise was absurd and that I should buy the Zinser 123 which doesn't require any sanding. This told me the sales person hadn't a clue what she was talking about. Luckily, I had not opened the SW primer but when I went to return it, I had to wait 10 minutes for on the only sales person in the store to come out of the office where she was on the phone. I don't know, maybe someone in this store is interested in doing what is best for their customer instead of pushing the Sherwin products. Maybe there is also an employee interested in customer service. Unfortunately, I haven't encountered any of those employees. I hope that the corporate office sees this review since SW used to be my go-to paint store. However, their prices are high, their service is bad and their products are mediocre and don't necessarily serve consumer needs. There are options!

Sherwin Williams products are the best. The cashier I had today made me feel like I was bothering her when I put in an order for wallpaper. She was not helpful and she acted as if she was doing me a favor by waiting on me. I will not return to the Norwalk store.
