They take that sterile ‘bank’ feeling away and are always a joyful staff when you walk through the doors. They’ve always made the loan process hassle-free and are attentive to your needs if you can’t talk ‘bank talk’. Highly recommend others to use them.

It's a good bank. But to try to get a loan it's a little bit hard, the lady for the home loans it's not even helpful, I had a bad experience with her. She only makes me lose my time and I didn't get my loan, even if I got my savings there?. Oh well!!

The workers in norwalk are very nice. Firelands bank is a joke. They make it extremely inconvenient to spend your own money. If you travel and happen to spend in an odd location without letting them know, they lock your account. If you spend locally but out of the ordinary they turn your card off. You have a daily spending limit on your own money...and the kicker today I find out I have a swipe limit. I just love every time I go somewhere with sufficient funds and get denied for a purchase with a line of people behind me. If it weren't such a hassle to change all my financial information I'd of already left. Don't bank with Firelands unless you want to be treated like a teenager.

We switched over from a bank several years ago and couldn't be happier. We have never had one negative interaction with any associate there. Always a pleasure doing business with them.

Ive never had a financial institution more polite, professional,and trusting then Norwalk's branch at Firelands federal credit union!!!!!

If you are late with your car payment they will freeze your account. You don’t have to be a month late just a couple weeks. I admit it was my own fault I was late I had forgotten the payment. But then I almost lost my job due to them freezing my account. Firelands do you think it will be easier for me to pay if I’m jobless? I will be changing how I bank.

Most inconvenient bank I’ve ever encountered in my life. I don’t recommended credit unions to anyone. Won’t be banking with one ever again.

Terrible service and very rude. In the military so its hard to do anything because i have to go into the branch yet its impossible when you live so far away trying to serve the country yet they treat you like your nothing and wont help in anyway! Worst service ever will be using other banks from now on. Done with this place

I'm only giving one star because you cannot give them less than one. They have the absolute rudest customer service I have ever dealt with from any business whatsoever. I cannot leave this credit union fast enough. Mostly 20 year olds seem to answer the phone and always have a nasty attitude and answer questions with zero knowledge of anything. My husband is a deployed soldier and before he left, we went into the bank to make sure all contact information and places he would be traveling was set because he would be without phone contact for a year. Literally as soon as he left his card stopped working because surprise, they did not input the notes into their system. They refused to let me turn his card on even though I am joint on the account and could not comprehend that he couldn't talk on the phone with them. This is one of several situations that should have not happened. They also love to fee you for absolutely everything. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!

The tellers are nice. The rest of the staff when things arise with account. They are very rude unprofessional and do not communicate well.
