I cannot begin to say enough good things about Dr.Perry. You will not meet a better or more compassionate advocate for you and your pet. Dr.Perry was willing to try any and all options we had to relieve arthritis pain in my senior dog, Such as acupuncture, laser treatment and Injectable arthritis meds. She was also my advocate when trying to diagnose my senior dog with further health issues. I called the office just about daily and she was always willing to receive my messages and hear my concerns. She went above and beyond what a normal vet would, and words will never express how grateful I am for her help and support during a difficult time.

I had gone to another vet that when my senior cat became ill with a UTI they could not, (or would not work her in). They did not care that I told them I would take my animals elsewhere. Creekside was recommended to me and I am so happy. I have seen two different vets at this facility, Dr. Chelsea Hoersten and Dr Amber Helmling. They are both amazing. They truly care about your animal and are so gentle with them. They also do not try to talk you into treatments that aren't necessary. Highly recommend this vet clinic.

Creekside staff was amazing. Dr Perry and Carol were terrific with Baxter. We will be continuing Baxter’s care with them. I highly recommend you give them a try!

I want to start by saying that the staff is very kind, and helpful. I had started taking my pets here because my other vet wasn't doing surgery anymore and I needed my dogs fixed. (Did not end up getting them fixed here.) But that is not the issue. Apparently they are not well versed in some surgeries here. As my 16 year old cat started having trouble walking on her back legs. First it was only one leg. So we started on solensia. While it looked like progress was starting to be made, her other leg started to go flat. "Flat footed, not walking on her feet/toe beans." After some other medications such as onsior, with little to no effect, they referred me to metropolitan veterinary hospital in Copley. The surgeon was nice, but informed me that my cat apparently needed at $15,000 surgery or I needed to consider putting her down. The reception staff after the visit was horrendous. (I'll be adding this to their page as well.) As I'm bawling on my way out and trying to pay a large chunk of money for just having someone look at my cat, I have to hear the receptionist bragging to someone else about how it's so much cheaper for them to have their animals cared for there, since they get a discount. And she's talking about how outrageous prices are, and how thankful she is for the discount. It just was in really bad taste. So I go back to creekside again, to get blood work done to see if there is anything else going on. There was nothing else wrong. Her blood work was amazing. But they tell me she has a grade 4 heart murmur out of 6. And they also told me I needed to get the $15,000 surgery or I would have about two weeks before they felt it would effect her quality of life and i would have to euthanize her. Now mind you, this whole time my cat is still mobile, eating, drinking and using the litter box. THIS WHOLE TIME. And they are telling me I have two weeks to get $15,000 for this surgery. Well I decide to go get a second opinion, THANKFULLY! And also start her on cosequin and kidney booster vita sticks (Choolip) due to the meds she was on. So I take her to Akron Barberton Veterinary clinic our original vet. Whom we have always trusted with our pets. I explain everything that is going on and what happened to get us to this point. Doctor Roadruck looks her over and advises me she absolutely does not need a $15,000 surgery as she is walking, just flat footed. And she also has NO heart murmur! He even said he could see her living another 7 years! So he advised me to keep doing what I have been, and keep giving the cosequin. Also continue with the injections for her joints. It's now been over a month and she is happy as can be. She is still a bit flat footed, but it's not effecting her ability to move or jump. She can even go up and down the steps. Sure she's not running marathons or anything, but she's getting around just fine. She's not in any pain, and still gets hyper and playful too! I am solely writing this just to give a heads up to anyone else who may have a situation like this happen. It never hurts to get a second opinion, especially when a fur babies life is on the line. The fact I was faced with get a $15,000 surgery or put my cat down in two weeks, was outrageous.

Creekside Animal Hospital provides flawless veterinary care. Does it cost money? Of course. Yes, superb veterinary care costs money. Our three fur kids have experienced perfect care for five years. Meanwhile, we know it costs money to run a business, retain top-notch personnel, and keep clients' pets alive and happy for as long as possible. This is what Creekside does. Period. End of story.

Editing my previous review. Creekside has changed. When you call to request an appointment for a sick animal the soonest they can get you in is 3 or more weeks later. And tell you to take the pet to Metro if anything changes.
I still believe the doctors are good. They have just gotten too busy to see all the patients they have.

Creekside and their staff are wonderful. Ruger is a fairly new patient, and I am so happy I found a Vet who cares. Dr. Messner is great, and she cares about animals. She went above and beyond her duty to help me with my 15 year old Boston Terrier.
Thank you,
Sharon

I brought my dog, Bear, to Creekside for the first time and the staff was absolutely amazing. We met with Dr. Perry and she answered all of my questions and addressed all of the concerns that brought us in. I am so happy we found Creekside and I will be sure to recommend them to my family and friends.

The entire staff is fantastic. My one pup is quite difficult to handle/deal with and the entire staff always handles her without issue. Highly recommend taking all of your animals here. They treat your pets like their own & care.
