i had went into ameristop to get a lighter, and she just assumed i had smoked cigarettes. i had only asked for a lighter and asking for a lighter have nothing to do with tobacco or nicotine.

I only go here because it is literally across the street from where I live! I probably will no longer go in here now. Went there about 2 weeks ago to purchase small stuff like milk, barbecue sauce, and coffee creamer. The milk was spoiled even though the expiration date was still 5 days out! My son drank it and threw up directly after because of how sour it was. Went back to tell them and grab another gallon of milk, and apparently all of them were bad! Before that incident the cashier charged me $40 for the entire purchase! It was literally a Gallon of milk, a bottle of barbecue sauce, and a bottle of creamer which should have only came out to about 15 to $18. This action caused my bank account to be overdrawn! I didn't get the money back for almost 3 days. I have three ferrets that are emotional support animals, I sometimes take them with me when I'm having a bad day. 4 days ago I took one of my ferrets up there to get cigarettes, and the owner and his wife were fine with me having my ferret in there with me. This morning I go up there to get another pack of cigarettes and I take my ferret with me again, and the lady is like no animals in here! You guys need to get on the same page! The owner and his wife cannot allow someone to bring an animal in the store with them, and the other employees are not allowing it. That store is way too expensive to begin with. So, I will just go out of my way to the Dollar general a little further down the street!

Worst customer service ever! I stopped in before work to grab a snack. When I got to the register, the cashier didn't even talk to me, she and the other worker were too busy talking to the customer they knew, nor would she tell me my total. I had to look at the register to see what it was. I gave her my money and said thank you and she didn't say anything. I definitely won't stop at this place again! I'll pay a little more at either gas station around the corner. The owner/manager should be ashamed to have these kind of employees working for him/her.

Went in to buy lottery tickets. Walked out not able to cash it in because the tickets were never activated... And apparently the night manager doesn't know how to run the lottery machine. Very disappointed. When I called in the lady told us she was too busy and couldn't help us

They didn't even active my lottery ticket and it was a winner and there is a night manager there she should know how to activate it worse place to go for lottery tickets I do not recommend going there for lottery tickets or anything else everything else is over priced
