Feisty Brood Meadery is a fantastic family business offering a wonderful and speechless experience. Visitors highly recommend calling for an appointment or reservation, though they may be able to work walk-ins in with a short wait. The owner provides a full, amazing tour, explaining in detail the mead making process, how different types of honey provide different flavors, and what goes into creating the different types of mead. The owner is wonderfully polite, very personable, knowledgeable, passionate, and enjoyable to talk to. The tasting is 100000% worth it and very thorough, with sampling of many different kinds of mead that are hard to pick from. The varieties and quality of the mead is outstanding and delicious; guests are surprised to love everything they try. Many of the meads have received national and international gold medals in competitions. Specific highlights include the Zen Orange Blossom, Barrel Aged, and the Sunshine. Guests often leave with multiple bottles or cases because they are so in love with the flavors. They plan to return and join the rewards club for new releases and previous favorites. Anyone who has a chance should stop and check this meadery out; they will not be disappointed.
We had a tasting with Carl and it was a great time! He was knowledgeable and passionate to share about the mead making process. We surprisingly loved everything we tried as well; it was hard to pick what to purchase. We will be back!

Wonderful and speechless experience. Amazed with the tour and tasting - the varieties and quality of the mead is outstanding! Highly recommend the Zen Orange Blossom, Barrel Aged and the Sunshine.

This guy knows so much about mead and his meads are delicious. We really enjoyed talking to the mead maker and the tasting was very thorough. Our group walked away with two cases of mead.
