“This place is incredible my daughter went there 3 times in search for a prom dress. She was just having trouble find the “Right dress”. The lady there was so kind and sweet to us. You could tell she just wanted to make sure that my daughter was happy with want she got. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.”

“This is a wonderful place to work out, go swimming, play basketball. It is usually not overcrowded, and has a lot of amenities. Unfortunately some of which you can’t use, such as the showers and the steam room. Some of the meeting rooms are available for rent.”

“Went to the Nature Center at Shaker Lake for a family BBQ. Weather was predicted to be drizzling so we had our party indoors and had access to the kitchen. The venue was excellent. The party was on the second floor, but there was an elevator for those of us who needed one. The weather turned out to be fine, and lots of us enjoyed walking around on the trail.I recommend this nature center.”

“Absolutely wonderful. Showed up in order to have my mom receive a wig. Not only fitted her with a beautiful product but also provided her with skin care and pillows and encouragement. Great classes. Can't say enough how wonderful.”

“Great place to shop for free and if you are in emergency need of clothing, sometimes they have food also although I wouldn't recommend some of it. Clothes from, mens, woman, kids and babies. You really have to dig to find something good but IT'S FREE so you can't expect to find items as you would if you were purchasing them. They even have household items sometimes such as sanitizer, feminine products, hair supply, oral supply etc .. appointments only even next day appointments but don't forget to bring bags and MASK. I am grateful for what I have found here for my family.”

“Went for the Cheese, Wine, & Chocolate Festival. Overall an awesome event and a beautiful rustic venue! The barn was so beautiful and we appreciated the historical value. The festival was set up beautifully and they found some wonderful vendors. I would love to go to another event here!Only wish is that they offered more seating or designated ADA seating. I can’t stand long and had a broken foot, but we were completely at the mercy of other attendees, who weren’t keen on giving up a hard-won seat.”

“We were able to get our kitten spayed at a great savings - THANK YOU Valley Save A Pet! I lost my jobs due to COVID and really appreciate how kind you were, how efficient the process was, and the vet who spayed her was wonderful. We appreciate this organization very much and I recommend them highly!”

“Myself and many of my family members have gotten loans from HFLA in tough times. I always appreciate how intentional and helpful they are. Especially as a black woman, it’s so reassuring to interact with an organization that truly makes me feel like I am worthy of help regardless of my skin tone. The lending world can be very discriminatory towards minorities and towards other marginalized identities, but not HFLA! I would recommend them to anyone.”

“As far as I am concerned there needs to be a 10 star rating. In my opinion every person of color especially should find someone to talk to. My therapist Averil is a great communicator and listener. She provides coaching on how to work through things in the moment. The most important aspect for me is that I know I have a space where it is safe for me to be vulnerable and just be me and talk about all of "it".I know that every time I leave a session my spirit is lifted up and I feel free to be the best Ivra possible.”

“Walked in at 10 a.m. with a few other customers. I like this store because it's always clean and picked up. The merchandise is nice. The parking lot is big and it's not cluttered with litter. Has new temporary hours. 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.”

“I've left my dog for kenneling and volunteered with GAO several times over the past 5+ years, nothing but great interactions with Linda and the other volunteers. This page is currently be review bombed by someone who lost their dog and has accused the organization of stealing him, which I have hard time believing is anywhere close to the full story.Linda has done a lot for greyhound adoption in northeast ohio for 30 years and I will happily give her the benefit of the doubt unless proven otherwise.”

“Mark, Christi and the staff at Cornerstone of Hope are absolutely amazing people. I lost my Dad at a corporate owned assisted living facility in less than 20 hours. I found him locked in his room, face down, in the bathroom, alone, lifeless, in a pool of blood. I was referred to Cornerstone of Hope by a friend. I attended a 10 week grieving session with others who lost an adult loved one. The counselors, group members and staff were beyond amazing during our journey. I'm blessed to have bonded with 5 new friends who share each other's grief. We help each other get through our loss together. Cornerstone also has grief events that we attend together throughout the year. It helps support us and others who are grieving. Thank you Cornerstone for helping us through this journey. ? You are our strength.”

“I was in the residential treatment center almost 4 months not even, I had an amazing experience and learned a lot about myself I wouldn't have ever known otherwise. All of the staff are respectful and fair, yes they had rough days but damn so did we. I matured a lot going here, but I was also invested and willingly opening up about my goals and what I want to do with my life. I learned that I'm ready for my future while I was there. Going to school was a HUGEE part of the program, and individual therapy. and the groups. once in awhile I think about a skill and I use it. I learned peace, and now its a goal. It's all about reaching that goal. I still do SMART goals. And YES damn did I mess up in that place, but its all about learning recovery. Anyways, I highly recommend this place especially if you're open to treatment. I've done an after school program there too, it was nice I don't remember much but I remember having fun.”
