“The team that came to move us was great. They worked efficiently and effectively. We were on the 5th floor of a building with one slow elevator. They stage lining up by the elevator. I thought if was going to take for ever to get everything out but as one was taking out of office the other was taking down and in the truck. The move was done quickly and carefully. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone.”

However, it was large and too heavy for my husband and I to unload from a U Haul and get up into our house. We used the delivery service and got quite a surprise when we were charged for quite a few additional services besides the $140 per hour for the movers!I am editing my original review to say that a really great person reached out to me and made things right with the extra charges. “Wow! Just. Wow! We (The Musical Theater Project) decided to work remotely, and so we needed to move from a building in Independence to two storage units near Lakewood. We hired Berea Moving and Storage because they had been trustee by major arts organizations throughout Norheast Ohio. We needed to move backstock of CDs from our record label, and many, many theatrical costumes, in addition to office records, supplies, and equipment. They were thorough, careful, systematic, and organized. They were also really fun to work with! Somehow, they managed to find a spot for everything, even suggesting ways to organize the storage spaces so that everything would have its place. Best of all, the thousands of CDs were places in their exact right spot, in the exact right shelf--easy to find! We are forever grateful to this wonderful, family owned business. If they can organize our move, they can do the same for anyone.”

We called U-Pack, got a very reasonable quote (especially reasonable compared to competitors) and had a moving container delivered exactly when we needed it. The customer service was impeccable each time we communicated. Once dropped off, we had three days to pack it up and lock it and they took care of everything from there. They moved the unit from Ohio to MN and even stored it for us for a small fee until we could move in. They dropped the storage unit in front on our move day and had it picked up and out of the way the next day. Highly recommended!!!”

“Used this business for moving. When I spoke to Ralph and set a date / discussed this things I needed moved I knew that this was a professional and friendly local business. Connected the day before to verify and the guys showed up right on time the following morning. I had most things packed well but they tidied up any loose ends and were prepared to pack more. Had me moved in the quoted time. Nothing broken and total professionalism. Follow up call from owner within an hour. Not looking to move anytime soon but if and when I do, I hope Ralph and his crew are still there. “To Whom it May Concern:If I were to score (based on 1-10 – 10 being best) the work done by the young men you sent to move my lab to its new location (November 7, 2023), I would most certainly have to score them an eleven!They arrived on time, immediately started organizing and moving my very expensive lab equipment with care and professionalism. They asked me about different items and if it need special care (several did need special care). They worked diligently and completed the move in less time than estimated.The lab benches are large, and a previous mover started taking them down then quiet. Your young men questioned what had been done (which was very little) and said they normally did not reassemble items that had been taken apart by others. I understood this and agreed, they would disassemble the frames and reassemble them at the new lab. Our employee showed them how to take the units apart and then your young men took over. Once at the new location they reassembled the units.It was estimated that this move would take 5 hours to complete. They were done in 3 hours 15 minutes.I cannot tell you how happy I am with the work they performed for us.We are looking for a new permitted location in 2024.
