Hellebore event was a waste of time only 2or 3 different types of hellebore and non of the ones pictured in the email were available. Drove a long way for false advertisement.

My first experience here- we came to get some planters and soil. This place is BEAUTIFUL. I don’t live here but wish I had access to a garden store like this. The holiday set up was gorgeous and the plants in the greenhouse looked like they were well cared for! Love the garden statue selection too! What a fun way to add depth and character to your garden or yard.

Very nice home and garden center. I went to buy wood and they had good service. Someone helped load it for me into my car. It wasn't cheap wood - $40+ for 1/8 of a rack - but convenient and offers enough wood for a long evening campfire.

The staff is horrible! This is a garden center! They should have employees who have knowledge on the merchandise being sold, not teenage girls who sit on there phone and sigh from inconvenience with an attitude when you ask them a question! At work you have to work! The accessories and decor is the biggest rip off. Go down the street to Hobby Lobby or Homegoods and you’ll find the same stuff at half the price. They have a huge selection of plants that will last no longer than a few weeks. I purchased multiple hanging baskets early this summer from here and other stores. These were the first to die. All got the same treatment. This also happened last year. Meanwhile I have baskets from Lowe’s and Walmart that still look beautiful now in September. I again wasted my money on mums from here, two weeks ago, and they are all dead! It’s my fault for continuing to come here!

***** I am adding 5 more stars because Maria Gardens deserves a 10! Our salesperson Steve L. was so helpful getting us from selection to checkout, and in making sure we knew what would happen next. We actually used Maria Gardens landscape service for the installation of our purchased trees. Our installation date was estimated at about 2 weeks out from purchase. We were called about a week after purchase with an install date and time (I believe Rich was his name). Install crew was on time, and took time to make sure all trees were installed to perfection. It was nice to see the workers actually taking pride in their work, backing up to look at each tree after installation, slightly pulling on them to make sure they were straight, looking at from all angles. Bases of trees were edged nicely and mulched. From purchase to install was only a 2 week wait! This was by far the smoothest install we have ever experienced. We wish all our landscaping experiences could be this hassle free! Well done Maria Gardens! Keep up the good work! Definitely coming back for more trees!

Went to Maria Gardens this morning looking for ground cover that would thrive in part shade/sun. I walked around the entire facility looking for ground cover or "help". 5..count them..5 employees ranging from work clothes to polo shirts with Maria Gardens embroidered on them. Obviously, they worked there. Not "1" person asked if they could help me..not one! I was walking and looking like I needed help...but they were too busy to even give me a glance. Will NEVER go back there and will discourage others to do the same? I guess they didn't need the order for $200 in plants and ground cover I gave to Petittis today. So lacking in customer service...unbelievable! Satisfied customer....that I went somewhere else!, I

I am slightly disappointed this time around. Usually, my " go-to" place for gardening. The young ladies at the check were too busy on their cell phones to answer simple questions. The flowers looked sad (yes, I know what season we are in).I will check them out again this fall.I would definitely recommend it overall.

Great selection of plants, both indoor and outdoor, full line of fertilizer, mulch, insect control, bird food-feeders, plant supports, pots, soil, seasonal merchandise, home decor, firewood (the best in the area, I’ve tried several competitors) whatever you may need, a full service garden center! Nice young men always ready to assist in loading your garden materials. Two locations, Strongsville and North Royalton, I shop between the two as if you don’t find it at one you’ll probably find it at the other. A particular bright spot is Cheryl, she has her hands in everything, she’s always a pleasure to speak to!

Used to love this place but bad employees and management ruined a once good inexpensive green house into a price gouging store. The knick nacks everywhere are hard to avoid. The workers who'd rather mow you over than help you. Not to mention ridiculously over priced houseplants it's not even worth it to waste you gas and go here.

The flowers are beautiful. I went looking for pots to replant some violets. Sooo many choices, reasonably priced. The cashiers are very efficient just wish they would smile more!

06/13/23 They have plants that others don't. Get most of my plants from there, but when you want something different as a specific bush, they have it. They are also helpful with planning.

Just needed a few plants that were not available in the other garden centers. Had exactly what we wanted. Quick in and out.
