Hours changed- I went in for an appt that I had already bought a gift certificate for and they were closed! It was 2:00 on a Friday when their hours posted online are 10 - 9. There was no sign, but the door was locked and no lights on. The following day, they returned my call and apologized for the inconvenience. I was informed of their new hours to reschedule. Phyllis is an excellent masseuse!

Do NOT recommend & if you look @the other reviews on the site you will notice a pattern & should take heed. Waited very long time for scheduled services (Groupon package). Massage was great, facial was fair, manicure was horribly sloppy. When I complained, their resolution was to redo for free at a later date. I don't have that kind of time to waste - I expect quality the first time!

I was in town for a business meeting when I had decided I was in major need of a manicure. I'm glad that I ended up at Extasis Salon. I was able to get a spa package for both my manicure and pedicure with organic sugar scrub exfoliation. The scent of the scrub was so inviting I had to ask what they used to learn all their products were Organic! My gel manicure stayed in tack with no chips extending the normal 2 weeks, minus the normal nail growth. For anyone in town, I would highly recommend Extasis!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the way I look when I leave this Salon!!! To be honest- I feel sexier than ever!! I constantly have people coming up to me asking about my hair style and color, women AND men, - CONSTANTLY! I know I look good and it feels so good to have people just stop me, randomly, to comment on my hair - all...the...time!!! We all know that classy woman take pride in their hair and face- THIS IS THE SALON FOR CLASS, BEAUTY, & ELEGANCE! The staff there is always up to date on the latest styles/fashions and VERY professional- they have best products to be sure you leave there feeling beautiful and sexy! Stopped in as I had time before meeting friends. Wanted the pedicure with free manicure however the pedicure took almost 2 hours. The tech told me to come back for the manicure since thel pedicure took so long. Needless to say the "boss" said that wasn't an option. And let's not talk about how bad the toes look...shameful!!!!

I bought the Groupon for my sister and myself and we were in that salon for 4.5 hours and enjoyed almost every minute. We were treated with attention for our welfare with coffee or drink as soon as we arrived. Then, we were shown (and I do mean shown - that shop is very deceiving from the outside as it appears as a small shop until they take you to the back to begin your facial or massage. It really goes back pretty far). I started with a massage and Phyllis made sure I was comfortable and really took notice to keep the pressure the way I like it which is relaxing (leaving all knots where God put them). I just wish it could have been 1.5 hours. My sister said it was her best massage in years and that comes from a woman who was not impressed with Massage Envy where I go every month. The facials were superb and done by the owner. She gave a lot of extra special care to make sure things were just right for any new procedure (like suction) that was done on us. We were both more than happy. Then, we ended with the mani/pedi. Nice small talk, but enough to engage or lull back and enjoy the service. Jill was very thorough with the cuticles (doing them twice - a first for me) and trust me when I say I have some ahh, difficult toes to work with. Everything was great. I gave a 5 overall because it was my fault I didn't go for the gel for the color I chose and later in the day I noticed it was uneven and even a fill nail was left on which caused an indent. It was a spa day and for the price I was more than satisfied and would highly suggest you go with the Groupon. The regular prices were a bit higher than I'm used to back him in VA. I can get a mani/pedi with gel and two designs on my ring fingers for $70 so I know I'm spoiled. My sister will be going back for the massage and facial and perhaps when I come back for Christmas I'll try it again with her. I'll be watching Groupon! Don't know why those other women had problems with their hair, but I can only speak on what I had done. Good luck to everyone there and to those that go.

Awful. I was in about a year ago to have extensions done, spent 1500$ and 6 and a half hours for bad quality hair and awfully blended extensions. After the job was done I was happy with the length but I came in to get them tightened and a retouch done since I have naturally light hair and the extensions were dark brown and during the shampoo, the stylist tangled the hair so bad they had to cut the extensions out of my head and I had to go about 2 weeks with 2 tracks out of 5 missing. It looked awful and when I came back in she said she had "new hair" for me which was whatever hair was left over from her last client, it wasn't even the same color or texture. Then I had to come in another time to get the hair blended because the last two times I went she said it was impossible to cut extensions to make them look natural which isn't true I've seen it done many times. Since then I've gone to a few salons and spoken with them about extensions and they've informed me that the hair would not have tangled like that or tangled as much as it did period if it was good quality hair. It shed so much and a few fusions actually ripped my hair out and created dreadlocks in the back of my head. On top of that during my extension visit the stylist took several smoke breaks and apparently one of the girls from my beauty school interned with them and reported she was constantly drinking in the back. I've waited longer to review to see what other people had to say and it seems like the only good thing people have to say are about the facials and manicures, nothing good about the stylists. Crazy that these women have years of experience and still manage to screw up multiple women's hair.

I'm giving one star because I can't give any less. Do NOT use this salon for hair relaxing! I say this as my bald spot is expanding. I have had my hair relaxed for 12 years and NEVER had this experience. Now I have to deal with the results which involves no shampooing, no styling, etc until my hair regenerates. $550 plus tips to wind up looking like a monk. Terrible, terrible, terrible

IN RESPONSE TO ANYTHING THE OWNER HAS TO SAY: Woman you need to wake up! All you want to do is argue with all your MANY dissatisfied customers, instead of taking responsibility for your staff's lack of talent and education clearly. Why don't you woman up and run your salon properly. Stop blaming all of us when you and your staff ruin our hair. I think all of us need to report you and your staff to the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology so you can get your salon in proper working order. That is, along with my complaint to the better business bureau for your horrible customer service, terrible salon servicing and bad attitude. Your stylist argued with me the entire time I sat there pointing out all my nasty bleeding highlights that were half an inch from my scalp. The only person in your salon who is tolerable is your receptionist. Perhaps she can teach you a thing or two about human interaction. But again, my original point: OWN UP TO YOUR MISTAKES. We didn't come into your salon with our hair hacked off, streaky or falling off. That was the work of you and your staff. It's pathetic you want to attack us all after forcing us out into the world to show off your horrendous handywork.

This review is specifically for the massage service that I routinely schedule with Phyllis. She is awesome! I schedule every 30 days and am always impressed with the quality and dedication. The price is amazing compared to massage envy. I also have received manicures from Liz but not sure if she is still there since it's been a while. Liz was fantastic and I got 8-9 days on a French manicure. Loved it!

Got a mani/pedi/facial/massage through Groupon. All services were excellent. They did a slight mix up so I had to get undressed and dressed and undressed but no big deal. My only complaint is that I am a non smoker and the woman's hands who did my facial smelled like cigarettes.

UPDATE: I tried to contact the salon about my experience and to resolve my complaint. I was met with a very rude, unidentified and insulting person. The customers service was completely unprofessional and while the person did at first offer to "redo" the polish, the rest of my issues were dismissed as my own fault for not understanding their package. The person also blamed Groupon for the misleading ad rather than the salons service. I must reiterate that I have NEVER had a mani/pedi that didn't tend to skin, callouses or cuticle care. The brochure available throughout the salon clearly states that "filing and cuticle push" are included in the "Shape Up" Mani/Pedi. Yet while my nails were filed, my skin and cuticles were not managed in any way. My hand nails were filed, my toe nails were clipped/evened up and polish was applied. That's it! A very poor offering for any salon. The ad should not have been worded as a mani/pedi but rather simply a polish. I would not recommend this salon at all. Spend your money elsewhere. There are plenty of great salons around town.

Although I am uncomfortable giving a business a review that is not positive, I do feel it is important to share my story. I spent over 6 hours having hair extensions put in. I was asked to sign a waiver releasing the salon of all liability which I did indeed do. My hair is quite fine so when the fusion extensions were put in, the sides of my hair were unable to hold many resulting in a somewhat mullet look. Immediately I noticed my scalp was itchy, but expected it to subside after I became used to them. My scalp continued to itch after a couple weeks. I called to have them removed on a Wednesday and had to wait until the following Tuesday to have them removed. At this time I incurred an additional $100 charge to have them removed. Although you are told they will not do damage to your hair, I have large bald spots all throughout my scalp. My natural hair is broken in many places. I do have photos showing these spots, and have had them verified by a reputable salon. I don't feel the cost was misrepresented, nor the process-- however, please be AWARE that if you have them removed prior to them growing enough, not only is the removal process extremely painful, but can leave you bald spots. I did feel as if I were shamed for not "loving" them and wanting them removed so quickly. I was told only ONE other person ever felt this way. There were some positives. I did find the staff kind and hard working. I feel they were upfront about the costs and the maintenance the hair would require once the extensions were put in. I do want to warn others that despite what you're advised, if they are taken out too soon, since they are so close to the scalp that it is very painful and bald spots are not only possible~ but I have the photographic evidence to prove it!

Disputed ridiculous price of hair extensions i was charged without my consent. Owner has insulted me called me a thief and a child and told me I would spend my time sitting in a cell over a civil issue. Told me i had to pay the piper! Very immature. Called police on me over a disputed charge which they informed her was CIVIL. Would not stop emailing me on my honeymoon. See previous review. ridiculous. Had to get her extensions removed and fixed within 48 hours because they completely shed out. Weren't real remy hair. Don't go there to see cathy or for hair extensions. Biggest mistake I've made. She is making up responses on this site trying to justify what she does. Do your research and go elsewhere for hair extensions!
