“Recently made a trip to Cleveland to purchase a 2005 Honda CR-V. Bill had everything prepared and ready to sign. I was very pleased with the transaction and my little CR-V. If you’re looking for honesty, communication, and a nice clean vehicle, look no further, Quality Car Sales is the place to go.”

“Plan on looking at a car from here later this week, will update afterwords.

Called them up to inquire about a car. Asked a few questions about it (any smell, rust, etc). Guy seemed honest enough. I'm planning on taking my mechanic out to look at the car to make sure there isn't anything majorly wrong.

They DO NOT provide a carfax or autocheck report. I don't see why not, buy a bunch if reports in bulk for under 20 per, so if you are looking at a car, may be worth pulling the report yourself to make sure you aren't getting a lemon. Cars(DOT)com does a brief AutoCheck report (one prior owner (Y/N), any accidents, clean title, etc) if it doesn't come up clean w/no accidents, I'd pull a report before looking to know what accidents its been in prior.

They also have a $250 doc fee. This includes temp tags (could shove the autocheck/carfax report in this and increase it to 270 and be fine)

They also have a 3% fee if you are paying by card (as a business owner i understand, cc fees are ~2-4% depending on the card merchant). They don't take personal checks, but do take cashiers checks.

One more thing, their camera guy needs to work on taking better pictures. The exterior pictures were OK (some blurry) but the interior pictures were lacking. Would have liked some more pictures from the passenger side / more pictures in general, especially the guage cluster when running.

I plan on bringing a jack and an obd2 scanner to get a better look under the car and to see if codes were cleared at all. Will update by Aug 10 2024

UPDATE:I went and looked at a 2012 Mitsubishi Eclipse. Was decent but needed some maintenance that I had budgeted for. Code scanner was good and didnt show any codes or that the codes were clearrd. Ended up buying it and it just needed a timing belt replacement. Overall fairly satisfied but do your due research so you don't get a lemon by accident”
