This was my first visit to this facility and first visit with Dr. Lindstrom for my adult royal python. Facility itself was beautiful--it had a large waiting room so anyone waiting with their pets really didn't have to be so close and a separate "kitty korner" for the cats. I appreciate their efforts to decrease the stress of the pets while waiting. I could probably spend all day sharing the amazing experience I had working with Dr. Lindstrom but actually want people to read this. I work with animals professionally for 15 years now and obviously have pets of my own, so I have seen a lot of vets in my time and I can confidently share that Dr. Lindstrom was the best vet experience I have had. He truly cares about his patients and the humans that come along with them. He took the time to hear my observations, shared his thoughts and talked through each one of them. He cared about the emotional health of my pet and that weighed into his recommendations, which meant a lot to me. He was so generous with his time and I never felt rushed or that he was distracted with other patients, he was 100% present with the pet and human in front of him. Exotic vets are difficult to come by and in my experience even more difficult to find a good one and I feel so blessed that my snake, Fettuccine, gets to receive the best care with Dr. Lindstrom moving forward. I am only saddened that my dogs and cat don't get him as a vet but I am sure the other vets are great too. There were some negative reviews about the place being expensive and I felt their prices were fair for the services provided. I lastly wanted to also note that the desk staff were kind and friendly as well! I had Megan check us out and she was great! Even gave me some tips and suggestions regarding payment that was really helpful. All around great experience and would highly recommend anyone with an exotic to find their way here.

Thankful for the care we've received but the costs are out of control. The building has only grown larger and nicer along with the property. I'm fairly certain the profit margin is doing just fine and the costs can be reduced. Feels like they've taken full advantage of being the only emergency provider within their area. Staff is pleasant, care is adequate, but the prices are crippling

We aren't from the area, so we can only speak about our one experience with this clinic. On a road trip from Chicago to Philadelphia, or poor baby Sam (he was 14, but he's always a baby to us), went into cardiac failure, and we had to take him here to be put down. Everyone was so kind and warm, they made this horrible experience so much more bearable with their kindness. Less than 2 weeks later, we received a card in the mail from the office, with nurses and doctor offering their condolences. It may seem like a small thing, but I so appreciate the gesture. Thank you for taking care of our Sam, and letting us be with him at the end.

My last visit to the ER. Never saw a vet. Just the tech. Was charged $600 for seeing an actual vet. To top it off this once awesome clinic has turned into how many items can we get them to pay for and how high they can get the total bill. Versus offering simple less costly procedures. They wanted to give my dog an enema, fluids, many invasive items. When I said no and advised you can give dogs Murilax OTC and I would do that. I was then told NOT to give him water. But yet they wanted to do IV fluids. I will be going to another local vet going forward. Excessive fees, price gauging, more interest in the almighty dollar than the actual pet, and they promote breeding versus low cost spay and neuter not becoming of a business that is based on animal welfare.

I will say they are a bit pricey, however, when we elected to put our dog down following multiple illnesses, the private rooms were a comforting way to spend the last few moments with our beloved pet. The doctor was very informative and they were very compassionate... even sent a card a couple weeks following the euthanasia.

I have went to Dr. Randy for almost 10 years he's the best doctor in this facility and he is the owner. He has recently been treating my dog Rocco for lymphoma. I've had issues with a few of his doctors which is Dr. Cashman and then most recently another doctor that I just saw two days ago in the emergency room, I took Rocco there for throwing up diarrhea and his breathing. The doctor tried to tell me that the muscle spasms he was having in his leg was probably from him falling that his breathing was from his abdomen being sore. I paid $672 when I got home my dog was worse. All she did is give him medicine to not throw up which I had already done. She gave him pain medicine and did chest x-rays when I called that night to complain they gave Tracy the message and today, Monday morning, Tracy Called me and told me that I am no longer allowed to be a patient there so this is what you have to look forward to if you complain on one of their vets even though my dogs in the middle of cancer treatment with Dr. Randy, he's no longer allowed to go there. since 2018 I have spent over 10000 if not more on just rocco here I have all records to show I have a right to call and question why a vet treated my Dog wrong. I will be reporting to the board

Outrageous Prices and Lack of Transparency at [Veterinarian Name]'s Office I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at [Veterinarian Name]'s office. On January 2nd, I brought my dog in for a sore shoulder. Despite not performing any x-rays or additional diagnostics, I was charged a whopping $375.00 for a single injection and a few pain relievers. To add insult to injury, I was then advised to bring my dog back two days later for a blood test because he was shivering excessively during the first visit. Unbeknownst to me, this follow-up visit, which consisted solely of a blood test, resulted in another exorbitant charge of $304.00. In total, I was charged nearly $700.00 for a single injection, a blood test, and some basic pain medication. I find these charges to be completely unreasonable and a blatant disregard for the financial well-being of their clients. Furthermore, the lack of transparency regarding the costs was appalling. I was not informed about the price of the blood test beforehand, leading to an unwelcome surprise at checkout. I urge anyone considering this veterinarian to be cautious and inquire about ALL potential charges before agreeing to any treatment. There are clearly better options available that prioritize both pet health and the financial concerns of th

I was a longtime client of this clinic and am very disappointed with their services. I couple years ago I need emergency treatment for one of my dogs at 1am. I took him in and they transferred him from the exam room to another area where they started a IV. An hour later they returned to the room (2am) and I was sleeping. Rudely, they called the police and accused me of drinking. I refused to ever return there ever again. Now that Ive been arranging an appointment at a new veterinary clinic I shared ACN info so they could get his medical records. Here is their professionalism with another Vet. After 35 years of loyalty, they have the nerve to say they called the police because I fell asleep after 1am. Four more hours I would have been up 24 hours. Dr. Randy, I hope this review makes it to your desk. I never did receive an apology and your staff should not be telling tales. Shame on Animal Clinic Northview.

Dr. Reppart: last Sunday, Feb 18, is when I had to euthanize my companion. Feb 17 was when the dr saw her... We came In Saturday the 17th, knowing this is it with my Nala. I had her for 12 years and she was about 13/14 years old (rescue). The past year she was having a harder time getting into the car, was more tired after hikes, and was just... old. Well, I noticed she stopped eating and drinking and her belly got big so I called around. Our original hospital said they were at max capacity. Their referral said they couldn't see her until that Tuesday (I knew she wasn't making it through the weekend), so google review says 4.6 stars for this clinic and I trusted it... I wish I went to the next one... came in and Dr Reppart gave us false information and hope. He said she's having heart failure and maybe cancer in her intestines, showing us the picture. But when I kept insisting that she is old and this is it (was trying to be empathetic about it) he said they can't "just" euthanize her without a reason. Even though the reason for her big belly was fluid containing blood which he said is a sign of heart failure. So the 2 recommendations was spend thousands of dollars to see what is going on, or give medication. I asked him what he recommended, he said medication. He stated that 2 were around $20 each (was accurate) and the third would be expensive around "$70 give or take" WRONG! That one medication was $198!!! What am I supposed to do? He's the doctor right? Went home, gave my dog her meds. The next 12 hrs were fucking miserable! She fell out of her bed and my bf and I had to lift her back in. She was in distress and I could hardly sleep... I finally went to bed but then woke up just shy of 5am on the 18th to see her defecated and vomit ALL OVER!! I took her to the front door to let her outside to see if she had to go more. That's when she was just oozing out everywhere and collapsed in the snow. I didn't even think twice but got my shoes on and carried her to the car! I walked into this same clinic, covered from my neck to my pants in shit. That dr on call didn't hesitate to agree with euthanasia. That whole 12 hrs did NOT need to happen... I called the clinic and asked to speak with the supervisor. They sent me to Jillian who said she would let the dr know. The dr then called me last Friday, while I was at work, but was pretty busy so I couldn't answer. When I finally reviewed the voicemail, not one SORRY came out of that 2 minute voicemail! I've been asking, BEGGING for a sit down, face to face, with a manager and the dr but Jillian emailed me and said they can't because they have conflicting schedules. I have to make due with a phone call??? Oh by the way, the whole time the dr kept saying "him/he" in the voicemail, when Nala is a female!!! Why would I want to have a phone conversation with a doctor who doesn't even remember his client!?! They don't care nor remember their clients. It's about the money! $1,000, gone and the trauma of the last 12 hrs has been haunting me since. I can't even get a face to face conversation... I'm not even worth their time...

I think a lot of bad reviews are written in a poor emotional state after the death of a pet. My experience has been great, everyone is friendly and they have been on time 3 out of the 4 times I've been there (1 time I waited 2 hours). It's a little pricy, but I felt like this place was more professional than others I've been too which justifies the price to me.

Call the office? What will I be told? That this never happened? My dog died in my arms while I was there for hours and had to run up and down the halls only to find no one?

My puppy has been seen here during normal business hours/regular visits and it was great. I took him in to the ER on Thursday 12/28 at midnight, after calling the emergency line to make a determination as to whether or not my puppy had a blockage after ingesting some toy stuffing. We waited an hour after arrival to be seen, (which I'm not even upset about, I understand there were more urgent emergencies). The vet techs we saw, (all three), as well as the receptionist were all very kind to me. The doctor on the other hand, Doctor Reppart, was not even kind of helpful. My puppy, (all of 29 lbs), was uncomfortable and stressed, and was barking and growling, which understandably made him unapproachable at the time, however even after getting a muzzle on the puppy, every single member of the staff who came into the room made ME hold the puppy still for the administration of a temp check, subcutaneous fluids, and an injection of Cerenia. Then made it very clear that they weren't particularly interested in investigating anything further by telling me things like, "well, we could do x-rays, but we don't know when someone could read them. Plus you'll walk out of here with a $1000 bill instead of a $300 bill." It was obvious they felt a certain kind of way about my puppy, (who prior to this was a regular patient there with no aggressiveness issues, so obviously this was isolated to his discomfort), and wanted no part in treating him further. The next day the subcutaneous fluids migrated down his side and were under the skin of his chest. I called to ask if that was normal, and the front desk literally said, "I think so but let me check with a doctor," and then followed it up with, "I couldn't find a doctor to talk to but I think it's normal." That part was normal, but guess what? Saturday, (less than two days later), I ended up taking him to a different emergency visit at a different veterinary facility, where they 1) weren't petrified of my puppy, 2) did x-rays and didn't discourage them - imagine that!, 3) found he had a potential obstruction as well as severe constipation due to the ingested materials. This all led to an overnight stay, IV fluids, an enema, blood tests to validate he wasn't septic or had any other systemic issues, repeat x-rays to validate everything had cleared, and a few other things. Dr. Reppart on your home page says he has a special interest in emergency and critical care medicine. I found that to be untrue. He didn't want to treat my dog because he was loud and growling, despite being able to have a tech successfully muzzle him. I will not ever under any circumstances recommend Northview or bring my dog back to you. I trusted Dr. Schreiner and still would trust her with his routine care, and Dr. Howell was amazing and empathetic a few months back when we had brought a different dog in for a second opinion on a poor cancer prognosis. These services were all amazing. But the ER and Doctor Reppart? Absolutely not, and if I can't trust you to be there for us when we need you in an emergency, I refuse to trust you for the easy/routine care to pad your wallets and make sure the flashy facility is paid for.

Misdiagnosed my dog on a Sunday. By Monday morning I thought I was taking her to have her put to sleep at my regular vet. However when my vet saw her he diagnosed the problem correctly and within 3 days she was back to normal! Oh and for this horrible service Animal Clinic Northview charged me 3 times the amount of my regular vet! When I called back to speak to management at Animal Clinic Northview, she said she would speak to the management and get back to me. Of course I never heard back from them! Don't risk your dog's health or waste your money, go somewhere else!
