This location ALWAYS has issues with its ATM being in service. Twice this week I've gone to use it and it's apparent someone has jammed it or frozen it. Seriously considering switching to another bank. Very inconvenient for people who get off work after the bank closes.

I started off with an account at the old Elyria Savings and Trust from the 90s, which was then purchased by FirstMerit, then again by Huntington. As a bank to offer checking account services for direct deposit, etc, it does what it is supposed to. Some of the newer "features" that allow ACH deposits to be credited to your account immediately rather than always waiting for them to post on a Friday is nice (which means we can get paid on either Wednesday or Thursday). The lack of some of the more traditional banking fees is also a plus.A half dozen years ago when my wife and I were preparing to purchase our home, Huntington's mortgage department was the worst out of all of the 3 or 4 that we dealt with for quotes. Fees were much higher, rates were not particularly competitive at the time and the blown officer was neither pleasant nor polite. You would have thought, as we did at the time, that Huntington would offer better deals for existing customers; apparently that is not the case.My wife also wanted to open a free business checking account to keep finances for a small LLC that she started separate from our personal finances. Huntington was unable to accommodate us and we opened a free account with a different local bank which has provided a great experience so far. Hopefully they remain independent and don't get absorbed by another one of these multi-billion dollar national bank brands. With regards to this particular branch office in North Ridgeville, I have never had an issue with the tellers when I have had to go in to the office for any business. However, never since they installed "new" ATMs a couple years ago, it is frequently down (of the last 7 or 8 visits, the ATM has been down at least 4 of those times) and it is frustrating to take a trip to the bank, not be able to do any business, then have to detour to the next nearest location which is about 15 minutes down the road.In a nutshell, we're not particularly in love with Huntington, but to date they haven't done anything particularly heinous to us with regards to our day-to-day financial needs to force us to seriously consider switching.

I have had Huntington for the last 15 years. However, today was my last day. We walked in to open a new joint account and were told that it would take too long and they have other things to do. So rude and extremely lazy. God forbid you have to stay a couple minutes past, welcome to the workforce! You have lost business from a loyal customer and I hope others see this and make a different choice before choosing to trust you with their money. Absolutely ridiculous. I gave it 1 star because it wouldn't let me do 0.

Always a nice experience when dealing with huntington. Very convenient locations, very helpful customer service at every branch I've been too, easy app to navigate thru also can easily help your credit score. Very happy with my choice of banking.

I understand we are going to digital currency. However; why is it their atm is never working, always saying out of order. I stop going to see the tellers because they take forever taking care of customers.

Well the ATM is out of service once again. Also the tellers occasionally hate their jobs.

Kristen was amazing and went well above and beyond to help me during a difficult time. She was polite, professional, friendly, and sympathetic despite being very busy. Thank you so much! She made a world of difference!

Stopped in today at about 4:35pm...25 mins before closing time. I have to mention as many of the other reviews the tellers are always polite and friendly. However, the typical experience as it was today this has to be the SLOWEST banking experience I've ever experience at any bank in NE Ohio. I've even watched the customer's in front of me on many occasions while experiencing a painfully long wait and it appeared they were only cashing check(s) or making a withdrawel.Today happened to be the best one yet; two teller's behind the counter both wrapped up in counting money (seemingly wrapping up there day) pretty oblivious to the two customer's waiting for service. After a 6-7 minute wait and no end in sight for getting my banking done I had to walk out the door. If you're in a hurry for your banking needs seriously consider another Huntington branch or another bank.
