NOW I GET IT! First and very important, people like to say the next generation doesn't like to work. In all fairness, we can't glom all young people in this category. I walked in Lil' Chet's to witness a young man vacuuming the floor, a very kind, patient and broad smiling young lady named Grace who wore the business brand well and then a taller, young man at the cash register and three other younger associates all busy at their post. I always thank people who are working these days but I'll go as far to say these associates were raised right. Bravo to whoever hired so many good workers. Now the Chicken. I walk To the back of the store and there it is.....a trove of fried chicken. I can't tell you how many people I know rave about this fried chicken. They say "it's the best around". I have driven past this place so many times, usually with somewhere to go. This time someone took the wheel and steered me straight in their lot. So I go in to see what all the fuss is about. Grace explained the difference of the chicken selection was. Just to sample, I opted for two thighs and one breast for beef and my wife with a side of sweet mustard. Got home to try it....Rats! I should have bought more.... The chicken was done right. Crispy, not greasy. In fact, if I had to rush out of the house, I know I could turn the doorknob with out washing the grease off my fingers. Breasts were not dry, thighs were tender, better than average in size and the mustard dip had a familiar taste to it but just enough off to make me consider it wasn't store bought and repackaged. So NOW I GET IT! What all the fuss was about. I'll be back for sure.

The ONLY place we get our chicken and jo jo's. No one compares. Big pieces and very crispy. But get in there early they stop at 7 pm. They also have their own deli ham, delicious deli salads, and a great meat dept. We get our cook out meat here.I just wished they would stay open later. 9 o'clock hurts! Keep up the great work!

Fantastic environment. Staff is awesome and the heartbeat is the deli. Wow!! Great chicken, and ala carte. They have it all and STAFFING!

Best fried chicken and jojo's around. Very large selection of craft and cheap beers. Lots of things you wouldn't think they have. Plus they also are out front grilling/smoking food in the summer. Haven't tried it yet but certainly will this summer.

A smaller store for quick stops any time. Associates are friendly and helpful. The store is clean. The deli has quick, real food. Product selection is well thought out to cater to customers needing items to fill in between major grocery shopping, or to get lunch or dinner before or after work. It's in a very accessible location, and everyone in this community stops often.

Whole family stopped in looking for some Lay's potato chips well this was simple and easy, selecting your items is as easy as 1 2 3 ?, polite and friendly checkout transaction with some funny personality to boot, you could simply burn away 20mins talking over here, be warned as its too easy to do...lol
