I was recommended to go here .I called in April and was told I had to wait until May to schedule for my dogs abcessed tooth,he is suffering,and so I bought enough antibiotics to last him until May .When I called they said "they r not taking new dental patients" I told them it is going to take another 2 months to wait,and I don't have 1500 to pay another vet,after they quoted me 5-600$ ZERO COMPASSION,ZERO...I HAVE OWNED BUSINESSES AND NEVER,,EVER WOULD I TREAT SOMEONE WHO WAS GIVEN WRONG INFORMATION AND KICK THEIR SUFFERING ANIMAL TO THE CURB.. Not sure what to do for my poor baby now.Thanks for making him suffer longer .

First, my beloved boxer had both ACL surgeries here. At one point, the doctor broke sterile field and she did let me know. He had to stay there alone and afraid. There is no communication here with the doctors. No interaction and no conversation, only in an email or the rep calls you back. Fast forward. My boxer needed some lumps removed. We also got his teeth cleaned. But we were more concerned about his loss of mobility. It turned out he had degenerative myelopathy. They knew this and just kept the wallet coming to them. This place is unprofessional. There are two here, DR. L and Dr B I believe. Both are arrogant and should not be practicing medicine. This place is all about money. No compassion. These are not allegations but cold hard facts. We actually are putting our boxer down today and will never ever consider this place for future dogs. The big thing is my husband handled most of the communication because he knew I would call them out on how there is horrible communication. They do things their way. The one who did the surgeries did it at odd hours. Breaking sterile field. Wow. Also, he had the plate taken out in the fall and he had an open gouge on the surgery site. He had an infection and porter dragged their heels to get back to us regarding this. This review has been a long time coming. I'll spread the word to anyone who listens. Do not come here. They do not care about animals. Money is all they want.

I took my 14 month old golden retriever to get spayed at Porter Pet Hospital at the recommendation of our veterinarian. I found the facility to be modern, bright and clean, the staff to be friendly and knowledgeable, and the cost to be very affordable. What a winning combination! I was encouraged to call between drop-off and pickup if I wished to inquire about how things were going during surgery (which I did), and they took the time to thoroughly answer my questions when I called the days after her recovery. Overall we had a wonderful experience, and really couldn’t have asked for more.

I am thankful to have found this place after taking in an unexpected stray pup. I was able to get an appointment way sooner than most places at a fraction of the cost. Porter Pet was very responsive to emails regarding her incision since I've never dealt with a spay procedure before - allowing for increased peace of mind.

I had a very good experience with when I took my cat in to get neutered. Very kind and knowledgeable vet nurse and technician. Everything went well and the price was a fraction of the place that I was going before.

I have been coming to Porter Pet Hospital for about 4 years now. Dr. Brucchieri and her staff are absolutely wonderful. From vet to receptionist, you will have the best experience. Jen always greets me with a smile, and Dr. B always makes sure my pets and I are comfortable. I have a very reactive rescue who came from a bad situation and she always accommodates to his quirks. She is the only vet I have ever gone to that sits down on the ground, for both my nervous Nellie's, and bonds with them before starting her exam. Today my 2 year old huskydoodle had his annual visit and he was very nervous. However, because Dr. B took the time and sat with him before his exam, he calmed down and will in the future, correlate the experience to positivity. She never pressured him into anything. She is wonderful at communicating with humans as well. Dr. B and her staff are incredibly knowledgeable and look at all facets of treatment so you can have the most educated knowledge for yourself on the best course of treatment. The clinic is also very clean and modern. 10 stars!

Great place to get your cat nuetured. I was looking everywhere for a place to get my baby boy neutered. Glad I came across this place. The waiting list is not long. The sign up is easy. And the whole process was quick and smooth. When he got home from surgery he was good(I was so worried before the procedure) today is the 4th day after surgery and his incision look almost fully healed. And they have good pricing..very affordable and their work is clean ..Thank you !

Ive been here for both an appt and an emergency visit and both times everyone was amazing, very caring and thorough and answered all my questions without making me feel rushed. After 3 visits to my old vet with 0 solutions for my cats crippling anxiety I switched her to here and they offered blood tests to put her on the safest anxiety medication. I can’t wait to sleep again and have a happy kitty.

Elizabeth the Veterinarian is a BILLING MACHINE. My guess when they Oppen'd the surgery center she needs to cover the overhead and make back her loan. I have been here for 7 years. The past 2 years i have had nothing but enormous bills since they built and just uneasy pressure from Elizabeth herself. I had a dog who she said had "Lime disease" and within the Same day went elsewhere and was not the case. This place has lost its touch and I talked to prior employees who quit because of the tyrant Elizabeth. DO NOT COME HERE

Great place for having pets spayed! Low cost and quality care. My dog is doing great after a week of being spayed.
