Great Vet! Cares for the animals they see. Brought kitty in with a bad abcess, within a few hours received a call he was all set. Kitty came back happy and full of energy. Big change seeing the day I brought him in he wouldn't even be pet. Vet has been very good with check ups. Will be back

On Wednesday, August 14th, my cat burned his paws on the electric stove. Since I was new to the area and didn’t have a vet, I found this clinic on Google Maps based on the reviews. They were able to see him that afternoon, which I appreciated.
Given that my cat is older and fearful of vets, I sedated him with gabapentin as recommended by his previous vet. However, the clinic staff told me not to do this as they needed to sedate him themselves. When I picked him up later, I was charged over $500 for a non-emergency visit, including $110 for trimming, shaving, and cleaning his paws. Upon inspection, his paws were still dirty, not properly shaved, and had dead skin.
I was asked to return at 7:30 PM to pick him up, but when I arrived, they said I had to wait until 9-9:30 PM. Then, at 7:53 PM, they called to say he was ready. I rushed back, took him home, and noticed that his cone was uncomfortable and his bandages were to be checked in a few days.
The next morning, my cat had removed the bandages himself, so I brought him back. An hour later, they said he no longer needed the bandages, but when I got him home, I found that his left paw was bleeding, with a busted claw. The clinic mentioned my cat was aggressive, but they hadn’t made it clear that he had sustained an injury - He now has a limp.
The clinic called on August 21st to check on my cat. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the lack of communication and care, especially considering the cost. The assistant claimed she informed me about the bleeding, but this wasn’t clearly communicated/was vague.
While I appreciate their efforts, I declined their offer for a follow-up visit. The communication and care were not up to my expectations, and I will be taking my cat to another hospital in the future. Photos attached for proof.
Please note that with burns, it can take a day or two for the injuries to fully declare - Nonetheless, not disclosing an injury that occured under their care clearly crossed a line, in my opinion.

Great animal service and staff. The staff here are all amazing, every last one of them. My dog had to have a difficult surgery here recently and the doctors, technicians, and receptionists all exceeded my expectations in handling it. They did phenomenal work and kept me reassured every step of the way. My dog also gets his routine check ups annually and everyone is very helpful. A friend recommended I come here when I first moved into the area and I don’t regret my decision at all. I appreciate their service overall!

Reposting since it keeps getting removed and I’ll KEEP POSTING IT
Their review of North Olmsted Animal Clinic was removed NOW FOUR times in the past 3 days by the clinic.
PLEASE, PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!
It is bad enough to lose a pet, but how she died was just horrific!
I brought Sheba in for a chronic ear polyp that was infected.
They were extremely busy that day, the waiting room was full, so I was told to sign a paper & come back in a few hours.
When I picked her up she was unresponsive!
I have never had an animal released to me in that condition!
They claimed the anesteshia just needed to wear off. WHAT ANESTHESIA? We never discussed anesthesia, they were just supposed to clean out her ear and administer meds!
I took her home and agonizing hours passed by.
My Mother & I anxiously waited for Sheba to come around...she never did.
Suddenly she twitched, a gasp of distress, then coughed up a large mass of blood.
My mother and I watched her take her last breath on my living room floor.
- No#1 HOW DO YOU LET A CAT GO HOME UNRESPONSIVE?
- No#2 HOW DO YOU EVEN CONSIDER PUTTING A 13 yr OLD CAT UNDER ANESTHESIA WITHOUT doing blood work to see what condition her health was in and discussing with the owner? ESPECIALLY AFTER I GAVE YOU HER MEDICAL RECORDS THAT CLEARLY STATED SHE HAD EARLY SIGNS OF KIDNEY DISEASE.
- No# 3 HOW DO YOU have a customer sign an anesteshia consent form WITHOUT EXPLAINING or DISCUSSING ANYTHING, YOU JUST RUSH THEM OUT THE DOOR!
- No#4 Why did your son physically take my cat from me and give her back to me? After minimal research of his name, I see that he is only an office coordinator? What qualifies him to handle clients pets and in his own words"I had to give her a bath because she was combative and urinated on herself." He also said that he is learning from his dad. I thought only registered vet techs and the vet could legally handle animals in a veterinary clinic.
- No# 5 WHO inserted the tube in Sheba's ear that most likely caused the hemmorage that ultimately took her life?
WHO murdered my sweet angel Sheba? I'll never know...but now my mission is to share her story. If I can prevent even one person's pet from succumbing to the same fate, then Sheba will not have died in vain.
Please dear Lord forgive me for bringing her here!
Shame on you North Olmsted Animal Hospital, Shame on you !
Thank God for Faithful Companion crematory service for picking her up & bringing her back home to me!

Recently SEVERAL of my friends have taken their animals to you on my suggestion. Thank you for taking such good care of their cats and dogs. Also, A special thank you for seeing a friend of mine the same day , as her Vet would not see her same day, and her cat was critically ill. You confirmed her suspicion that the cat needed to be put down, and she applauded your compassion and decency . She said, even though you weren’t in her city, she was going to come to see you when she gets her next pet. Thanks again for all you do.

They administered anesthesia to a cat that SHOULD NOT have received anesthesia. The cat was only supposed to get her ears cleaned. Unfortunately the cat passed away because of their negligence. Don't bring your pets here. Edit: I'm reading the responses to peoples reviews. They show no remorse and try to make excuses to cover up their actions. Im also seeing they are abusing Googles rules and asking people to take down their reviews. Not very humane or professional.

He used to be a great vet. We noticed that he started slipping. And high turnover with staff. His wife is rude over the phone and very cold when you need compassion. The diagnose of my boxer with lymphoma was said to not be lymphoma. A year later , more money and another biopsy, she did have lymphoma, and we decided to never ever come back. Also, the place is dirty. Profits over pets. Retire already. This review has been a long time coming. Do not come here.

They are great. Quick to get your pet in and always go above and beyond to treat your pet and make sure they are comfortable. Very reasonable pricing as well.
