If I could give my experience a zero, I would. I purchased a Hyundai Santa Fe 6 years ago. After 109,000 miles, the engine stopped working and the service department told me I needed a whole new engine. Fortunately, I had purchased a "platinum warranty" (supposedly the best warranty package - so I thought I was in the clear. They ordered a used engine with 94k miles on it from across the country to ship to Ohio, but when it arrived, the engine was missing a bunch of parts. Instead of getting a new engine - either a brand new engine or an engine with lower milage than the original - I was told they had already hit the limit of what they could spend on my car, and instead I had to pay another $1400 or the dealership could put the car back together and wash their hands of it. They had my car for more than THREE MONTHS. I had paid for this platinum warranty package for six years, and I still had to pay $1400 (in addition to towing and upfront costs). The person in the service department I dealt with, Mike, started out nice but turned rude when I couldn't get a return call from the warranty company to discuss what was going on (called them 3 xs in a week and couldn't get a supervisor to call me back). He said they couldn't wait anymore - and at this point, I had already been waiting 3 months for my car to be fixed - and I had to make a decision. He treated me like I had done something wrong. With no other reasonable choice, I had them fix the car without getting to speak to the warranty company and paid the $1400. I will never buy another Hyundai, and I will never return to a Ken Ganley dealership. I recommend you don't either. 0/10.

Bumps in the road but they have rectified the situation. If you go in please ask for Conner. He is professional and knowledgeable. Editing my original post because it’s been a month in a half and this still has not been resolved. At the beginning of July, my 16-year-old began her car purchase journey after saving $10,000. She was given the option of a white and Neon Kona. We needed to wait for funds to clear so we put the deposit down and scheduled pick up within a few days. The next day she had regrets because she heard of the Hyundai break-ins and didn’t want to drive around with a bright car. I called Robert and he confirmed there was a grey on the lot and a dark blue was on the way. I confirmed the price would remain the same as the green at $34,389 and she chose the dark blue. We scheduled pickup for Wednesday during my lunch. I had told him I was thinking about financing versus leasing and he said no problem just talk to them when I get there and it will be an easy quick fix. When I arrived at Hyundai Robert was not there and my daughter and I sat there waiting until Conner came over. Again Conner is a delight. Since Robert had quit nothing was ready and no apologies were given. I spoke with Amanda and she gave good advice don’t put so much money on a lease so I financed instead. I waited hours and still had not signed any paperwork. Finally, they let me take the car home and come back at 6:30 to fill out the paperwork. I get home and discover my 4-year-old is running a fever on an already stressful day. When I came back I told the finance guy the numbers didn’t seem right and he said these were due to taxes. I got home and reviewed the document and discovered I was charged OVER MSRP and the Ken Ganley discount was missing. This was NOT what I was advised I would be charged. I wasn’t going to stress because they had the 3-day shopper Assurance. The next day I went in and mentioned the 3-day shopper Assurance and they acted like they didn’t know what it was even though their website mentions it. They also said there wasn’t a Ken Ganley discount since they went out and got the vehicle. Now I could have gone to another Hyundai 15 minutes away and purchased the vehicle myself so that didn’t even make sense especially when the vehicle was already on the way. I was advised to speak to Ethan since he handled the deal. I spoke with Ethan and he advised with the original guy quitting, the car being changed from a lease to finance and the color being changed things were messed up and he can send a $646 refund. Not being confrontational I thanked him and left. This still wasn’t right because my 16-year-old daughter was charged over MSRP and this put her at MSRP. After a few calls and him saying he would call me back and didn’t I spoke with Conner and Ethan miraculously called me back. He apologized when I told him of my frustrations and said the car would be $34,389 and would send a refund check for $1897 which included the taxes, Ken Ganley discount, and being charged over MSRP. That was fair and I gave them a decent review with 3 stars. It’s been a month in a half and still no refund check. I called him he said he would call me back. When I finally got in contact with him he said another office handles checks and he will have them reissue it and he will call me back. Weird how the registration paperwork was mailed without any issues. He has yet to follow up with me. The icing on the cake is not only taking advantage of a 16-year-old but a veteran as well. My husband is a veteran who would qualify for $500 off. He has been waiting on his DD-12 which has taken forever since he served 2 active tours. He gave them his military ID on July 24th which was processed and accepted. They even took photos. On 8/17, I get a call from Conner requesting his military forms again. He said I could just text these to him but my husband does not feel comfortable sending his info through text message. So he went in and was advised his IDs would not be sufficient and once we get his DD-12 paperwork we could appeal to Hyundai.

Was looking to trade in my car for a newer one. Informed the sales person and manager that I only had a short amount of time to just look at numbers now. If the numbers worked out I could come back later for a test drive. They refused to evaluate my car after holding me there for 45 minutes. What a waste of time. The manager was also short and rude with me. What a terrible business.
