We had a really good experience. Would recommend to anyone. I see during the pandemic people complained but that is out of their control. Our furniture came quick and they even held it for our new build to be done. Top notch service.

UPDATE 10/20/23: One of the owners reached out to me personally and sincerely apologized for our experience. I appreciate the effort to acknowledge our experience and validate that it was not up to Sheely's standards. We may consider trying them again in the future. Their prices and quality really are some of the best in the area.ORIGINAL REVIEW: Like many other recent reviews here, my family and I (3 generations of us) have been proud customers of Sheely’s for many years and have bought several pieces of furniture from them, but our recent purchase experience seriously fell short.We purchased a nursery set on September 2 and were told an estimated delivery date of late October. I am due in December and this felt like it was cutting it close, but we decided it would still be okay.I called Sheely’s on Friday, October 13 to get a status update and was told the crib is still on time, but the dresser has been delayed to January.I asked if there was a way to expedite the order, because if any furniture order is on a timeline, it’s nursery furniture! I was told I would have to call back when my sales rep was in, which wouldn’t be until Saturday when of course the manufacturer wouldn’t be open.We called back same day and asked for a manager to hopefully be able to figure out a solution before the manufacturer closed for the weekend. We called three times on Friday and left two voicemails for Paul the manager and he never called us back.On Saturday morning, we called as soon as our rep was due to get in. She knew exactly what we were calling about when she picked up, so clearly the manager had left it for her to deal with (I would hate to work for a manager like this). Turns out the crib was ALSO delayed until January and she’d (of course) have to wait to call the manufacturer on Monday.First of all, someone should have informed us when the furniture was going to be delayed by an additional 3 months. Second, this entire sale could have been saved if the manager hadn’t avoided us all day on Friday.We tried to support a local business, but since our business meant so little to them, we canceled our order and purchased from a national retailer that could deliver to us within a week. In fact, it took several calls just to be able to get someone on the phone to even cancel the order. At no point during this were we even offered an apology. Just an “oh, it’s up to the manufacturer.” Well, we paid you, so you need to communicate these order changes better and work with your customer. We went to two national retailers to find replacement furniture and they went above and beyond to fix our problem when it wasn’t even their problem to fix.

We ordered a sofa and a recliner and a rocker recliner waited 4 months and paid $150 delivery. The padding on the arms of the chairs are down to wood already after only 6 months. It hurts us to rest our arms on them. We are extremely unhappy with your products and would not ever buy from your company again or recommend your company to anyone.And frankly I don’t even think we got the right chairs. From reading all the other reviews I see we aren’t alone in being unsatisfied and your company not doing a thing about it.

My husband and I were very impressed with the large selection of furniture, and was flabbergasted when they told us they have appliances also. They were very helpful and we left with a great sense of confidence in our purchases. Thank you Sheeley's for everything, great bunch of people!!!

I've purchased a good deal of furniture and accessories from Sheelys over the years. The salespersons were no pressure, the prices were reasonable, and the quality is great. Of course, even before COVID, the lead time was long on ordered furniture, as is the case in the furniture world, but several things I was able to take with me or pick up within days. I always visit Sheelys when looking for furniture because their selection and quality is top notch.

Walked around looking for a sectional and could not get an associate to help. Not a word from anyone until walking out the door after 1/2 hr of waiting. Plenty of personal but apparently we didn't look like buyers

Very large selection of furniture. We were just looking around for the first time? in this store. People are very friendly. No one hassled us. But they were available to answer questions too.

I spent $1700 on a recliner chair in June of 2022. So far that chair has needed repairs twice. First was covered under manufactureres warranty. This time I am out of luck and have to pay $49 service fee and have to wait 2 weeks for the service person to come out. Sheeley obviously sells garbage products at a premium price and doesn't stand behind the things they sell. I will never buy anything at Sheeley again

My wife and I purchased a leather swivel gliding recliner one year ago. We also purchased the warranty that was offered. Approximately one month after the purchase we noticed small tears on the back of the chair along the tack strip. We called Sheely's and they sent a gentleman out to look at the chair. He told us that the tears were from wear and tear. He tried fixing the problem by stretching the leather on the back of the chair. Needless to say, it made the issue worse. We called Sheely's again and they said that there was nothing more they could do and that we should call the warranty company. Keep in mind that the chair was still under warranty through Sheely's. When the man came from the warranty company, he told us that he could not fix it because he didn't have the proper tools to fix it. The company hadn't given them to him yet. He also said that the tears were from stretching the leather too tight along the tack strip. This was done when the chair was made and then worsened by Sheely's technician. It was not normal wear and tear. We called Sheely's numerous times, but they would never return our calls. We have been a customer of Sheely's for many years, but we will no longer give them our business. We now have a $1625.85 leather chair with holes in it that no one will take responsibility for.Frank Podnar

We've shopped at Sheely's in the past and were always satisfied. A few years ago we purchased our bedroom set from them and because of the positive experience we decided to go there this past November for a new couch. Unfortunately, I can no longer give a positive review for this business. We were told the couch would not be in until March. Although we felt this was a long time, they did inform us ahead of time so we were prepared to wait. Towards the end of February they called us stating that the couch was in (awesome!) and would be delivered this coming Saturday so we arranged to have our old couch picked up the night before. On Saturday (the day of said delivery) they called and advised us that the couch had been damaged in shipping and they would need to order a new one and would put in a rush order. (Again we had already gotten rid of our other couch). By mid April we hadn't heard anything so called to check in. They stated that the fabric was now on back order and it would not be here until May. Slightly annoyed by this fact but still understanding, we asked if they could give a discount or refund us any money for the issues. They stated they were just customer service and would have our sales person call us...she never did. We've now been told that the couch won't be in until June and again they said the sales manager would call us which has yet to happen. There have been no offers to make this situation right even though we've been nothing but patient with this business. Hopefully our couch will be here in June and we will not have to deal with Sheely's ever again.

Deceptive sales practices, poor customer service and rude.They will sell furniture Knowing it will take months to deliver but tell the customer it will only take a few weeks.They are rude and argumentative on the phone, accusing the customer of being the problem. They will hang up on you.Still waiting...

We always get our furniture here. They have the best deals around and also have very helpful staff. Today, someone went over and beyond all my expectations and really helped me. MaryEllen is the most kindest and most patient person. We will continue shopping here and referring everyone to Sheely's!
