The airbag malfunction now has a recall, so just shows they tried to get pay for what was clearly warrantied work.
This dealership has lost any business or trust I had in them because of this service department. This started shortly after the purchase of my 2021 Highlander, the driver window was whistling. I brought it in and explained the weather stripping was defective and needed replaced, well apparently I must lack a brain due to my anatomy because they said no it's the mirror, they replaced the mirror it didn't fix it. Took it back, they said it was the windshield, they did something to it that is now peeling up like bird poop, and you guessed it, it didn't fix it. My husband took it in said it was the weather stripping they took his word and fixed it and wouldn't you know it fixed the issue. Then I had an airbag malfunction in the fall of 2022, I took my still under warranty Highlander into the dealership and they told me the diagnostics and repair was not covered by warranty. I'm guessing they could tell I wasn't buying what they were selling because they came back shortly after and said they couldn't connect their computer to my car to recalibrate my ECU and they wouldn't charge me anything. When I left I immediately called Toyota Customer Care and they assured me that it was in fact covered by warranty as it was part of the airbag component. I took the Highlander to another dealership, they said oh yeah this is all covered, they tried to calibrate it, didn't fix it, then they replaced the ECU, didn't fix it, and then found out they had to replace the entire seat frame as well. This would have cost me THOUSANDS had I taken the word of the staff in the service department at Cain. Thankful I have a working knowledge of my warranty and my vehicle so I wasn't scammed. BEWARE.

Travis, our Sevice rider was excellent. We had our vehicle serviced with another company and they caused additional damage. Travis helped us document what happened so we could try to collect from the other company. Travis kept us informed all through the process and our car was done correctly. Thanks again Travis. North Canton Toyota is the only place we will get our vehicle serviced.

I went in for their promotional Pit Stop and for what ever else they might find that needed fixed on my 2017 Camry. I was very fortunate to have gotten Travis. After the initial inspection he explained my battery was old. Because I’m 84 years old and handicapped he didn’t want to worry about me getting out somewhere and my battery quitting. He suggested a new good one and also new wiper blades. Winter is coming soon. Because I’ve trusted Toyota of North Canton for a number of years ( this is my 2nd Toyota from them) I said go ahead with the repairs, even though Travis informed me they would probably be cheaper elsewhere. They have a record of everything that’s been done on my cars so I said I’m not going anywhere else. Being old and single it’s a good feeling knowing I can trust them completely. Thanks again Travis and Toyota of North Canton, Ohio.

I received excellent customer service.
Jennifer Beacon was my client advisor. She checked on any available recalls for my 2017 Toyota Sienna and found a recall on my broken gas cap cover. This was much appreciated. She followed up several times to let me know the replacement part was in and helped to have an appointment scheduled. I highly recommend her.
