Clutch issues with my 370z. They diagnosed the issue and gave me options. Replace just the hydraulics or do the clutch as well while torn apart. Choose both and an very happy with the results. Good work at a fair price. Would recommend.

I had my Tacoma taken in for a transmission service last week. The service was prompt and professional, and I was not pressured into any unnecessary additional services. The experience was excellent, and my truck now drives as smoothly as when I first bought it. I highly recommend this service center and give it a 5-star rating.

Vehicles, obviously, are increasingly complicated machines. Mechanics have to amass an increasing volume of knowledge, tools, and skillsets at great expense in order to diagnose and repair the vehicles that we depend on so greatly for our daily lives. We hand our vehicles over to them with implicit trust in order to diagnose and fix what breaks, wears out, or that maddingly taunt us with strange noises and inconsistent behaviors.
Jim & Sons Transmission Specialists in North Canton did not disappoint.
I was a brand new customer to this shop and initially thought I was having a transmission issue. While the problem I was having was not ultimately transmission related, they did happen to find an issue with it that needed immediate attention of which I am grateful. The issue turned out to be a completely unrelated system of which they were able to diagnose and repair as well.
Wayne, Max and Heidi were very helpful, informative, friendly and listened openly to my concerns and discussions regarding the issues I was having with my vehicle. My whole experience with them truly enhanced my trust in them, and afterwards I felt as comfortable in handing over my keys to them as I would sharing a drink and a burger over a grill.
Vehicle issues take time and money to diagnose and fix. The crew here did everything they could for my vehicle and for a reasonable cost as well. They have my vote of confidence and they have proven to me to be trustworthy. I believe they will to you as well.

Fast, friendly and expert service. They did the job. Fixed the problem and only the problem at a fair price. Did so in a timely manner. Did not try upsale me. Will give them my business again. Very happy.
It doesn't hurt that the office staff is not hard to look at. ; )

Sometimes you have issue that may not fall within the a company's guidelines and/or warranty.
I'd like to tell you about Heidi, Wayne and the team at Jim & Sons. I bought a vehicle that was serviced (by them) prior to my purchase. There was a CV Axle issue that required attention. After a conversation with Heidi I made an appointment to have it looked at. She called the next day and told me the car was repaired. I picked up the car that afternoon preparing to pay whatever the cost would be, but was told "No Charge!" The axle in question was just out of warranty, but Wayne covered it. Now this is a car that I just purchased, yet Wayne and his team went (in my opinion) over and above in taking care of me. THIS is how a successful business is run. THIS is how to keep customers happy. THIS is why I would recommend Jim & Sons hands down for any and all your transmission/drivetrain needs.

Jim & Sons performed a fluid exchange/filter on my 2021 Silverado 8-speed transmission. Wayne is very knowledgeable on these complicated transmissions. They took the time to do the job right. I was surprised at the improvement in shifting after the service.

My 65 mustang had a transmission leak so I called Jim's transmission to set up an appointment. Everyone I spoke with there was very nice and friendly. They were able to get me in very quickly and called me with updates about my car while they were working on it (which was great!!). They did a great job fixing the issues and I can feel the difference when I take it out to drive (the gears shift so much smoother which makes the ride so much more fun).
I have already made an appointment for a transmission maintenance/flush on my wife's vehicle and plan on taking my daily driver there too for the same maintenance. I would highly recommend Jim's transmission to anyone who needs work done on their vehicles!
