Went to get a haircut and the girl who cut my hair, the 19yr old redhead totally messed it up. She cut the back sooo short it's halfway up my skull. She tried to cover it up by saying " I'm gonna make it look good back here" pffft! I have gone there for 3 yrs and won't be going back.

Worst customer service I gave ever had from OLIVIA. All of my requests were met with reasons why she couldn't do it. She insisted she had to blow dry my hair before she could thin it and then said she would have thinned it first if she had known I wanted it thinned. I told her "thinned and layers trimmed up," when she asked me what service I wanted. She was argumentative and uncooperative.

Didn’t want to cut my hair shorter, didn’t use the right equipment, wasn’t helpful, & left with my hair a lot longer than what I asked forMy hair for context is very thick, wavy, & there’s a lot of it so it can be hard to deal with + gets in my way a lot of the time. I hadn’t had my hair cut in a year so my split ends were horrible visibly & physically, you can feel the dryness and crunchiness of it. I came here to get a lot of it chopped off, I wanted it cut up to my shoulders.The lady told me how beautiful my hair is & giving me a hard time about it. When she started brushing it she used a small comb instead of a brush (at other places no one’s ever done this so I was confused), and she continued to do so for 20 minutes struggling. She got mad at me and asked why it was so tangled.Then she gave up & started to use a regular brush. She asked what shampoo and conditioner I use, I told her it’s one I’ve been recommended by several hair dressers in the past for my dry scalp, but since it wasn’t working for me I asked what one’s she recommends. She rudely said I don’t struggle with that even though for years I’ve had dandruff & even had other people randomly telling me they see it, as well as very bad itchiness. She gave no help, & just said “I just want to know why your hair is so tangled”. I brush it everyday.At the end she only cut it to my chest, not to my shoulders like I asked, & said it’ll look shorter when it dried. It didn’t. I didn’t say anything more because at that point I’ve been there so long I just wanted to leave.

Every time I come in to the portage location to get my hair and beard cut I always ask for Olivia. She does an amazing job with my hair and especially my beard. She is polite and kind to me and other customers as well. She actually carries on conversations with me when she is doing my hair and beard which makes it nice. I definitely will continue to come back and have Olivia continue to cut my hair and beard. Thank you Great Clips.

Olivia needs an attitude adjustment, checked in online. Was waiting in line for 20 minutes patiently, and she says I’m going to skip you and take this guy that just walked in the door who was not checked in online! Because she knew him lol. She asked if that’s okay with me an I kindly said no please I am in a hurry which I was. And she threw a temper tantrum yelling and saying I can’t deal with you! What ??? Then said im not cutting your hair, you are rude to me. Is she okay? She is in the wrong line of work dealing with people if she can’t handle her emotions. I was flabbergasted so was everyone else in the building, the lady she cut while this happened she ruined her hair on top she said. Wow get her out of there management. The other women did great cutting my hair however a was very kind.

Liz the technician asked how I wanted my hair cut and she did a great job following directions. I would suggest calling in and reserving your turn. It's a very busy location
