“I originally had a pretty negative experience upon my arrival, as I was overcharged nearly $300 over my pre-reserved rate because of an error on behalf of another employee at pick up, upon my arrival to Ohio. When it came time to return, Trey provided an extremely positive and powerful experience as he not only resolved the issue without hesitation, he also made me a permanent Alamo customer. If other employees were like Trey, the many companies would have less angry customers and a more frequent and massive customer base. Don’t sleep on this man, he deserves corporate acknowledgement, a promotion, and wage/salary increased based on this experience alone.”

“I rented a car on April 15 and not only was the car dirty, but it smelled so heavily of marijuana that it made my sinuses burn. I was supposed to have the car for a week and tried to tough it out, but I had to turn around and take the car back to the airport rental at Akron Canton airport within two hours of picking the car up. The associate at the desk told me that there would be an adjustment made at the end of my rental because I made the rental online and there was nothing he could do at the time. I was assigned a new car and, it was dirty, but at least it didn’t smell like weed. At the end of that rental, I went into the desk and the same associate told me that because I made the reservation online and paid for it in advance, I would need to contact Hertz Directly and deal with them. He gave me the name and email of the person with whom I needed to communicate. I have reached out to that person and I have still not gotten any adjustment or compensation for the bad experience. Maybe a one star rating will some attention on this matter.
EDIT: I did receive an adjustment in the form of a credit from corporate along with an apology and verification that they do not conduct business that way. I appreciate the correspondence and consideration, and because of this I am changing my rating from 1 star to 5. When a company sees a problem and reaches out to correct a problem, that's customer service! Well done, Hertz! Thank you!!”
“Rented a SUV here for a week for my family trip. Booking and picking up the car was a breeze and very quick. Car was very clean and looked new at 10,000 miles. Car had no issues all week and returning it was even easier. Dropped it at the airport return and was done within 5 minutes. Will definitely rent here again.”
