Brook needs to get fired she was no help and she had a rude attitude. Been paying on my mom electric bills for almost 2 years now never had a problem until her literally. she doing to much about a bill that nobody wants to really talk her about anyways

they’re just plain expensive w the fees. I’m not an electrician but I can’t help but feel the whole “more you use more fees you pay” is a bit ridiculous. Perhaps I never noticed it previously bc the fee was so low but it’s typical to add $75-100 a cycle
Theyre fine to work with but I’ve legit never had an electric bill under $250 since being with these guys. I’ve tried to switch and you can’t. I’m not even in Hancock or wood county. That’s apparently up to the government not us. I wish I knew how the electric worked out here before moving out here

I've been really happy with them thankfully. It's my only option for electric but my bill in Warmer months is 70-80 and during the winter 150-190 (electric heat). I have an 1000 sq ft apartment. Think the prices are fair. They haven't gone up either . Haven't lost power in the 2 years I've had them

Had a power outage just on my property. Power out at 8:48 PM, called to report shortly after and it was repaired by HWE by 9:24 PM. Outstanding work thanks to the crew that made it happen!

My name's Hunter Brendle, and I'm a Highschool student at Elida, and I left a message asking if I could have a shadow day with a line crew because that's my passion I want to do in life. The Line Supervisor, Allen Riegle, got back with me and set the shadow up the sameday I left a message. I toured the facility, learned about the operations and software/technology, saw work up close, and got experience and information I'll carry with me for the rest of my career as a lineman. The people were very kind and more than willing to help me around and show me what being a lineman was about. I want to thank Allen again for giving me this opportunity. Amazing day, great experience. Thank you all.

AEP 2 blocks south 5 cents per kw hourHWE is 18.9 cents per kw hourThey say it's because of regulations, but co-ops do not have to follow a fraction of the regulations as AEP. You are forced to over pay, why? We have you seen their office?

I have no issue in there prices since I have seen prices from other electric companies are just as high. I also like using there membership discounts for both my dental and eye doctors. I have saved pretty good on both. There are so many coop deals that to be honest make up for any extra spent on electric.

They call themselves a coop and have the highest rates around. Someone has to pay for the presidents yearly bathroom remodel though and all the unneeded buildings they keep putting up. I would absolutely NOT recommend ever signing up with these people. It's like a cult, once you're in you can't get out.

They charged me for a bill that I had already paid, nine months after I had already paid it. I did not save the receipt for nine whole months, so I was forced to pay it again. They had been in contact with me during the nine months, sending me monthly member newsletters. But the only bill I ever received was a final bill about a past due balance that was delivered nine months after I had moved out and taken care of my final bill. The place is a scam.

Force you to be a member so. they charge for over price electric. Round Up your bill and you dont want them to. Poor customer service. never answers the phone. I miss AEP. Wish you could have a choice

Wish I could get a different electric company. These people are rude if you speak to a lady named brook I’d recommend asking to talk to someone else. Terrible business.
