I have spent roughly 5,000 getting mechanical work done at Westside Tire. Let me start by saying all the mechanics have done an excellent job. But today I stop in because the battery light came on in my vehicle. The lady working behind the desk told me bring it back tomorrow because the mechanics can't spare 2 minutes, and was very rude. They have now lost my business for life because I wasn't worth their time today

I originally went to Westside tire because of the raving reviews But I was sadly disappointed in the services that I received
I took my Toyota Camry to get all four tires replaced and get my back wheel bearings done (didn’t need done), The day my car appointment was the lady called me to Upsell me on a few services which I happily accepted (Transmission flush and front differential). I get the text message that my car is done so I go to pick it up They told me that my car doesn’t have a front differential and that instead of doing that they drained all my brake fluid and charged me $100 for that. I never got a call, asking me if they could drain my brakes. I was never offered in an apology for that. About a day or two later, both of my brake lines in the back basically exploded, and I hit another person in the drive-through of the raising canes, Prior to this, I had absolutely no problems with my brakes at all, and I had just recently put new brake pads on, So I called them because they clearly did not do something correctly when draining my brake fluid but ultimately I get it towed back to Westside tire where they ultimately charge me an additional $300 to fix my car and took no responsibility and what happened to it. The likelihood that both of my brake lines would break at the same exact time are astronomical odds. When I brought this up to them, they offered no apology no accountability, and one of their mechanics told me that the reason my brake lines broke because brake lines are made out of copper, but that is in fact a false statement they are made out of nickel. At this point, I did receive an apology for the service that I was charged for that I didn’t ask for, but was never offered a refund for the brake fluid drain. It turns out that they didn’t even clean out my brake lines. All they did was Unscrew the bleeders in the back and just let my brakes gravity drain.
I would not recommend going here. I paid almost $2000 for absolutely mediocre service.

I'd like to leave 5 stars based on the friendliness and credibility of the staff, however the labor costs seem high to me but let me just say I haven't gotten quotes from anyone else so I don't want to slam the company for something I haven't compared apples to apples on. The waiting area, showroom, and restroom are extremely clean and I feel that the staff are extremely honest.

Smiles waiting at the counter, now how can you possibly top that? Great service and really good price on my tire repair, if I lived here I would be doing more business. It’s always good to know good service still exists. Thank YOU

I have been a customer of Westside Tire and Service since 1980. My latest visit was for my classic 1980 Buick Riviera. It only has 76,000 miles on it. I have owned it for 39 years, garaged for 8 months of the year and driven only 600 miles in the 4 months it is on the road. It came from North Carolina and looks brand new, Never Driven in Snow! It is in storage from October 1 to May 1 every year. When I backed out of the garage this May 1, 2024, the engine made a funny noise. I had it towed to Westside on May 7. They told me my baby had a bent rod on an exhaust valve. As they started to search for the parts, I told them I wanted new springs in the rear, new CV boots, a Transmission pan drop with filter change, an oil change with filter, 4 new tires with thrust alignment and whatever steering parts that might be needed. My 1980 Buick Riviera rides as good as my Cadillac, Like Brand New! Price brought me to the only Westside Tire in Youngstown in 1980 and Trust took me to the Westside Tire and Service in Niles, Ohio.
