Was completely pleased with my first stay at this Holiday Inn Express. Although I booked it from the road an hour earlier, the front desk had everything ready for me when I arrived. The entire room was clean and spacious, with a really comfortable king bed. Sure, there were some noisy people in the hallway early in the morning, but you can't expect the hotel staff to have complete control of how loud guests are.The options for breakfast were what I've encountered at other HI Express locations, delicious cinnamon rolls, eggs & sausage, pancakes, along with other continental breakfast items. I left comfortably full.Overall, NO complaints and nothing but praise for my first stay here.

I would give the hotel three and a half stars if I could. It was decent with an ok breakfast. Some parts of the hotel are worn, but other parts aren't and it was very clean. Here are a few thoughts:- The mattress could have been firmer. The pillows were very comfortable though!-The TV channels were confusing and the not very responsive remote had the numbers worn off. Lots of channels though! :)- The pool looked a little worn and it is small, but the water was nice and warm.-You will hear traffic from I 80 no matter what room you are in, so be prepared for that.-The exercise room is small but nice.We would stay here again if in the area and in need of a hotel for a night. Everyone we met working there was very nice. The cost for us was reasonable. It is a tricky area to get to from I 80, and to get out of, even though it is right off the interstate. Be prepared for that. We found the hotel on Google maps. Overall, the hotel was surprisingly good and suited our needs.

Better than anticipated. Spacious room. Love the Dove washes and lotion. Hot eggs and bacon for breakfast. Convenient location for resting on long drive.

Loud hotel. Rooms are not quiet at all, you can hear everything in the hallway.The highway noise is there as well but it isn't as bad.I was on the first floor by the front desk and all I could hear all night was conversations etc from the front desk/lobby area.Beds a bit under par compared to a usual HIX.

Smelly and loud. This hotel could use some hotel collection diffusers. Bad smell throughout the place. Location next to busy road is terrible. So loud and noisy.

The bathroom has peeling caulk and paint. The room rug had crumbs and was not very clean. All this for $250 per night for a room with two queen beds. Definitely not staying again.

Terrible customer service, terrible management. Power went out at 8 pm last night then a little later the alarms and lights started to go off. This lasted till almost 1 am. You were outside in the rain with bats flying around. The one person that was to be at desk, you could not find him anywhere. He refused to call fire dept due to the fees of $2,000. It's after 11 pm and still still outside. Someone must of called fire dept. They got there after midnight and it took them over an hour before we were able to go back in hotel. Woke up an hour later with loud noises. Alarm goes off at 4:45 am for work. Still no power, water pressure very low and no hot water! Shower would not work and the tub, well it would not fill up. After I am trying to see to pack up... people down in lobby talking extremely loud... I gather my things and exit to stairs. There are at least 10 people lying in the lobby area sleeping on the furniture and floor. I had to ask them to move so I could get through the lobby to exit the hotel. One of the guys states to me, how was your stay? I ignored him and walked out! I am demanding a refund but- no one is answering the phone I assume power is still out? Worst experience Ever and worst management ever! Please do not stay here!

I was expecting more from a Holiday Inn. This is definitely a basic no frills place to lay your head. Convenient location off of the interstate. Main floor had a very strong chlorine smell that permeated all way up to our third floor room. The hallways had a "wet " smell. Over all the room was clean but "damp" . No hand soap in the bathroom. Used the almost empty bottle of bottle wash so I didn't make a big deal about it. Also only one wash cloth. They have breakfast from 7-10 on the weekends, a pool and workout room. Not impressed but wasn't mortified either.

Arrived and toilet was dirty.The breakfast was sub-par with the pancake maker broken. Apparently it has been broken for some time. Either repair or remove. The "taco" omelet was cold and nasty. The sausage patties did not even look appealing.Will not stay here again

Nice, clean, new, comfortable. Complimentary breakfast. Close to town, shopping etc. The staff are super friendly and helpful! Nice folks.

I would never stay at this motel I accidentally book two for the same night. When I arrived I was a day late . It was an honest mistake. I would of never showed a day late. They would not DO ANYTHING TO MAKE IT RIGHT. I have been an IHG loyal customer for years but not any more!!!!

Clean and comfortable. Decent breakfast choices. Right off the Ohio Turnpike. The small town of Newton Falls is a 5 minute drive and has a few choices for restaurants (many closed on Sunday, but travelers though small town Ohio know to expect that). The pool is small, if that matters to you, but would be fine for kids. No hot tub.
