We ate here with our niece and nephew on a Saturday for breakfast, and we were very happy with the manor and service that Jo provided. The food was awesome. It was the beautifulest and cleanest restaurant that they have ever been to.

I was only here to kayak as it is near my home.
The serenity and awe inspiring beauty of Punderson Lake also offers fantastic views of the lodge!

My recent experience at a cabin in Punderson Manor Lodge was incredibly disappointing. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a cabin that had clearly not been cleaned properly—there was dirt everywhere, which made me question the housekeeping standards.
The dining room was equally uninviting, with dirty carpets that looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in ages. To top it off, the food was absolutely terrible. It was clear that the lodge needs new cooks, as the meals were poorly prepared and lacked flavor.
While the front desk lady was friendly and welcoming, her kindness could not make up for the overall lack of quality in the lodge. This stay was far from what I had hoped for, and I would not recommend it to others looking for a pleasant getaway.
Rooms: Dirty sheet and floor crevices

6 of us made reservations to celebrate our birthdays. We were the only ones in the restaurant. That should've been a clue. Our food was very disappointing. My husband's steak and my pork loin were dry and tough. The side dish of green beans was cold and undercooked. We were given the check before any offer of dessert menu or coffee. Went to Aladdins fir a great dessert tray , coffee and wonderful service. Very disappointed. Was expecting superior food and service. Wonder how they'll stay in business. Will never be back.

Took the family for a walk, it's a beautiful area for a hike on well maintained trails and paths.
Walkability: Three paths were well maintained and clearly marked, the areas we walked were either wood decking, gravel, or paved.

The cabins are musty and filled with mildew, and dirty dusty plates in the kitchen. I was stuffed up all weekend and sick from it.
The fire alarm beeped all night and the staff didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience.
The showers look like they have not been cleaned all year and the beds are awful and uncomfortable.
There are no chairs at the cabin for a fire but rather a rickety picnic table that should have been part of the fire.
There are no paper towels or napkins and no extra toilet paper.
The coffee maker is from 1990 and took a half hour to make the worst coffee you have ever tasted.
I thought this place had new management but apparently they have no idea how to run this dump.
They even told me I would get a 10% discount for my husband being a first responder and then I would get late check out but then charged me for it.
The restaurants iced tea also taste like swamp water.
The only plus was we only had to stay two nights in this dump.

We love coming here! The rooms are large and beautiful, and the cabins feel quaint. It has a beautiful lake and surrounding trails. Any season will show you natural beauty and the cherry dining room always has delicious food for breakfast lunch and dinner.
Rooms: Rooms are large and feel cozy.
Nearby activities: Plenty of hiking, fishing, and swimming to be done around the grounds.
Food and drinks: The cherry dining room has amazing food.
Noteworthy details: Rustic look, with a great location.

The lodge is steeped in history and feels very European. Amenities are all there and in good order. No breakfast with paying additional.

When we arrived on the location, the property grounds and the manor building itself was beyond beautiful!! The entryway had a cool knight in armor greeting guests and the front desk attendant was very friendly and welcoming! They have little complimentary sachets you can fill with lavender upon checking in to place in your pillow to help you sleep. That was a nice touch.
The gift shop area was cute, too.
Our room was charming and romantic. Not as clean as I would have liked : empty tissue box, dead bee in bathroom, old towels that were dirty, and hairs across the floor in bathroom and in tub. Otherwise the room was nice.
Had dinner out on the patio. Server was nice and doing the best she could by herself. I ordered the NY strip streak and was very disappointed. It came slathered with Jack Daniels sauce, they gave me a butter knife to cut it with, and it had a lot of fat on it. I don't think I was given a NY strip streak at all but I didn't want to complain because the service was so slow, I was afraid it would take too long to get it fixed. The baked potato and green beans were excellent though. The breakfast was very good and I had no complaints with it.
We explored the entire building and were fascinated with the history and artifacts from the original owners and such. Had a great time exploring!
We also utilized the outside patio to watch the meteor showers and night sky! It was very nice to be out there. It was very peaceful!
We had some loud neighbors with kids making lots of noise for over an hour but it seemed to stop after a manager or worker visited them for some reason.
I probably won't be back here because after our visit I read about the hauntings and such and it definitely reinforced the feelings I was having while walking around the building. But if this doesn't bother you, then you'll really have a great time!
The indoor pool was closed during our stay so that was disappointing.
Overall it was a nice stay. Thank you.
