Delicious apples. They aren't sprayed, so they may not look beautiful, but you can judge an apple by its peel. No pesticides. Make fantastic apple sauce!

Our first time picking apples. Immediately greeted by a very friendly dog who showed us around her apple farm. Fun for our kids to see where some of their food comes from.

A very simple little farm but with a lot of heart. I called Zach the day before I planned to pick and he informed me that apple picking was open rain or shine, and at our own leisure once we bought a bag. The place is somewhat close to Denison University, and had the sweetest dog when my friend and I visited. Parking is available when you turn left in front of the barn, towards the apple trees. You simply walk in the little barn to choose your bag ($30 for 1/2 a bushel, then two smaller bags for a lower price) and pay, then you're free to go picking! At this time of year (mid Oct.) there were only Goldrush, but I must say the apples are delicious (just be sure to wash them first)! I would definitely go again if I'm itching for a road trip!
