I am an advocate for a woman who has been going through a divorce. After she made a choice to leave I brought her to New Beginnings. I absolutely through that these people would help. They talked about their classes and child advocate. They discussed things her children could do and even childcare for when she needed to be in classes.During the time my client was in NB the child development clas ses were canceled 3 of the 4 weeks. The child advocate was very rigid and did not seem to follow through on helping us access things that she talked about. Ypass clothing. I took my client to food pantry and she was asked not to being so much food at one time.Someone needs to look into this organization and the people involved in the building.

My advocate has been very helpful. I would recommend her to all who need it. No one is perfect so at times things aren't fine as we wish but it turns out best in the process. The only problem I have is when calling. They almost drop the phone, are laughing, or don't seem to care. Don't know who answers but they need some phone etiquette.

I came into this place after being beaten up by my ex wife and begged them for a place to stay they told me to come back in a couple hours for a bed and while I was out walking around my ex wife walked in to file a cpo order against me. I came back and they wouldn't let me in until she was done making a false claim against me so that I couldn't go back home, see my son or get anything I own. the entire time I was their they treated me as If I was the abuser when I wasn't. None ever came to talk to me and I came to them for help crying several times but was always told I can't file a cpo order because my ex got their first. I do not recommend going here not in the slightest.

I spoke to girl a Jen (Jennifer) … I knew I was fling one state to get to another state to start over she knew and told me to purchase a plane ticket they told me they offer no funding they told me to call and I didn’t even have to call when I got to the airport in Columbus gave me an address to take an Uber too they offer no funding it all and after I book a flight then Katrina calls me to say they don’t feel they’re the best fit for me so after I put out $400 to be able to come to this organization then they shut me down so beware they are polite on the phone but they’re ignorant they don’t care about your money level in your safety so if you don’t have something in writing an email to validate do not trust no one let me make that clear

The staff works so hard to help the clients in their building. From food to clothing to helping find jobs and housing...the staff cares about what they do.

Their heat does not work and staff was worried about canceleing an online oder on her phone when I was late for work trying to have her hand me some of my money to pay a cab. More worried about phones then the people they need to help. If u plain on coming bundle up, rooms are freezing .
