Discussed with the owner that I was trying to purchase a Ford Cleveland 4 bolt main block in his area, and he was recommended to me by the Ebay seller. I explained to him that I would like to have the block delivered to him and to have him build it for me. I discussed with him that I would handle the shipping, but he was not interested.
The owner was apprehensive and not really willing to work with me since I was from out of state, and I do understand a small business owner not wanting to risk losing money.
This is not a negative experience. It is just a neutral one.

Did a good job. But didn't take enough material out of our race bike cylinder. It didn't have enough clearance once warmed up. When the bike got warm it seized up. Ruined a brand new piston and cylinder

Took a couple old Toyota 4 cylinder heads to get some things done. He did exactly as a wanted and more. Not pricey. Great quality work. Fast service. Extremely happy. Will be bringing more engine projects to him. Highly recommend to anyone needing engine machining.
